This location is the best in the Monterey area! The service is amazing, and the manager Steven Callahan is very professional, nice, and very willing to help you with your issue or needs in the quickest time possible. They are all about customer service at this store! I had my phone fixed in a hour and am going to be back to upgrade soon! I will never waste my time waiting for hours at Del monte center ever again when I can come get what I need and be back to my day! I highly recommend this location and the manager and employees!

Steven was the best. I was kind of a diva getting a new phone and switching contract and stuff. He was super nice and went out of his way to really help me out. Small store. Great customer service

What an outstanding manager that operates this location. Steven worked diligently through major issues converting me from ATT back to Verizon! He went above and beyond duty to resolve the issue at hand. I would highly recommend this location for your next phone!

My original review: Customer service is awful. We walked in, no greeter at the door, no one taking names. Saw at least 8 people standing around waiting, getting no attention either. Looked around for 15 minutes, no one came over, left. Try the Verizon store in sand city, go to best buy in marina — or take care of things online. I know I will.
Updated 12/​01/​2015: I see the business commented that they tried reaching out to me. This is not true. As noted in my original review, I never provided a name or contact information at the store. Clearly things have not gotten better at this location.

I have been to this store several times for various reasons. Most of the time has been spent trying to fix their screw ups. The evening staff is friendly but have messed up royally. repeatedly. They are reassuring and convincing but it ends up that they have no idea what they’re talking about; the verizon help desk doesn’t care that you’ve been duped. I’ll put up with the lines at the del monte verizon location next time instead.

Very deceitful, pushy and manipulative! Not a true verizon store. They make it sound like you are getting a good deal but are intentionally screwing you over. And to top it off, you’ll have issues– new phone in July, I’ve been working to try and resolve the issues such as no voicemail since then (turns out they set call forwarding to the number 0) hilarious guys. When you call the real verizon, they will verify the high number if complaints

The guys at this store are wonderful! I ended up going at a busy time and waited 2 hours to get my phone. Because of this, the store manager did what he could to make it right. When I can back with an issue, he remembered my name and helped me solve the problem.

The customer service at this location is great! Jessie and Eric were both super helpful and turned a stressful situation into a pleasant, friendly experience. I didn’t feel scammed or pressured to buy anything, either, so that was nice. I’ll definitely be going to this location over the store at Del Monte from now on. 10⁄10

I’ve been to several phone stores in the last year, and this one is one of the best. The staff, especially Jessie and Sean are very attentive and accommodating. It’s the only downtown office in the area, so standards are higher since they are training new employees. The store layout is terrific I highly recommend this store.

Last week, I woke up to a phone that wouldn’t turn on… quite possibly one of the worst feelings! I felt cut off from everything and everyone! I walked into this store and immediately Dana and Jesse tried to resolve the problem. Once we determined that my old phone was not salvageable, Jesse worked his magic, even getting on the phone with my dad and Verizon corporate to fix the situation. Couldn’t be happier with the service I got at this store!

I have been to many mobile selling stores and this one just takes the cake! LITERALLY! walk all up in there with no phone and come out with a new phone for not just me but my family as well! the staff was well knowledgeable about the current phones and very helpful explaining plans even I could understand. Now i have a great phone (htc one max) and now i can browse the internet whenever im not near a computor!~ when my phone comes out of date ill be sure to come back here again!

Awesome experience! I came in to see about upgrading my phone and received the best customer service! Two reps — William and Regilio — took care of everything. I’d done a lot of research and pretty much knew what I wanted. They immediately took care of checking account status and getting my iPhone traded for a new Samsung Note 3. They both were very knowledable and made the process super simple and easy… not to mention a few laughs. Regilio even took the time to fill out the rebate information so all I had to do was put in an envelope and mail! I think it took longer for my information to sync than to handle the upgrade. I will definitely return to this Verizon store. Thanks!

I have been a long time customer of one of the employees who works at this location and trust his customer service and judgement because he’s always knowledgeable about new products and also honest about what phones/​plans are decent and which would not benefit me. You will get the advice and help you’re looking for, and there is usually a good promotional deal going on with most carriers and phones these days so it never hurts to ask!

Have you ever walked into a Verizon Wireless store looking for a little help and you end up waiting a good 10 to 20 minutes because the place is packed? Whenever I visit the one at Del Monte Shopping Center such is the case…
Have you ever seen an empty Verizon Wireless store?
Well neither have I until now… they «just» opened a brand new one right smack downtown in the same shopping center that Trader Joe’s in located at. How lovely and convenient. It is the best kept secret in town!
Luckily my Droid has been doing well (unlike my numerous Blackberries) so I haven’t had any reason to ask for help but every time I walk by (which is everyday) there is no one in there! Bad for them… Good for us!
Next time you need help… skip DMS or the one in Sand City near Target… you know where I’m coming when my 2 year contract is up. Yeah baby! You can never have too many Verizon Wireless Stores!
