Traveling across Missouri on I-70 and needed a place to overnight. We called and they said come on over. The access from I-70 is about 3 miles. You won’t hear traffic noise. Beautiful setting on gently rolling hills with well terraced and level gravel pads and wide interior roads. It is evident that this park was designed by someone who camps in an RV and knows that wide lanes and a wide distance between sites is a real attribute. The staff is friendly and we were led to our site. All sites have well made study and clean picnic tables. Each site has a fire pit. The utilities were convenient and the Wi-Fi was okay. No cable, but the television reception was very good with a dozen channels. We would revisit. We camped at Lazy Day Campground in a 5th wheel trailer.

Big fenced in dog park. Spaces are gravel, fairly level, large enough to put slides out. Narrow roads with big trees. Good Wi-Fi. Owners are on-site, very accommodating and friendly. Landscaping around the park is awesome. Restrooms were clean and well lit. Stayed 2 nights. Got Good Sam discount for full hookups. Would definitely stay here again.

This place is a sparkling gem in the rolling Missouri countryside. It’s close enough to I-70 for a convenient overnight, yet far enough away that the highway noise is easily forgotten. The trees create a welcome respite from the highway monotony, and the friendliness of the woman in the office(Sandy?) puts you at ease right away. The bathrooms were closed for renovations, so I cannot rate those facilities, but everything else worked just fine, and I was very pleased that the winter rate still applied for my early Spring visit! *CAUTION*: when I visited, Google and Good Sam both incorrectly stated that this campground was in Montgomery City, which is north of Lazy Day’s actual location by about 5 miles; Lazy Day is south of I-70 at exit 170.
