I have visited every Dollar Tree in the area and I rarely go to this one. It is a bit disorganized and the parking lot is kind of scary at night. My review is for my most recent visit. I had gone to three other DTs in the area looking for the smaller blue gift bags and I finally hit the jackpot at this one. Unfortunately they were all on the top hooks and even hiding behind some yellow bags. I found a female Asian clerk(I wish I had gotten her name) who I had seen a few times before. I asked her for help and help she did. She brought down ALL of the blue bags so I could sort through and choose the 40 I liked best. She was sweet and helpful even though the store was closing in 10 minutes and she was busy sweeping the floor. My favorite thing about DT is that they carry a lot of the same products so if you can’t find it at one DT, you can find more at another DT. The worst thing about DT is that they also carry different things from other DTs so you have to visit all of them to see all the neat, new stuff that they have. :)

I stopped in today to buy a cleaning brush for my bathtub. They had 3 varieties, which was nice to see. However, upon approaching the line, I found that it was over a dozen people deep with only two registers open. I wasn’t about to wait 10 – 15 minutes in line for a single item. I might have if I was buying more but that wasn’t the case. This location had a decent selection of items and they have a nice refrigerated section with juices, iced teas, etc. The freezer section had pizzas and other convenience food items. There’s some good stuff there but you have to have a discerning eye or you’ll go home with junk. The best departments are probably the school/office supplies, party supplies(plenty of balloons), and the cleaning supplies(buckets, brooms, brushes).

Fantastic selection of stuff here(cleaning supplies, personal toiletries, kitchen storage/tools, cards, gift wrap/bags, children’s toys, etc.). Everything is a buck! Located in the shopping center w/Trader Joe’s, Marshall’s, Verizon, etc., with plenty of parking.

This Dollar Tree isn’t the best that I’ve been to. In fact, it’s probably the worst as far as cleanliness and product availability. They hardly have the things I like to buy in stock. The store doesn’t have a good layout either. Theres always clutter and packages all over the floor. Not many cash registers open when the store is crowded with folks, which is bad because that makes long lines… awful! Its pretty ghetto IMO! But I go because it’s 3 miles from my place and I’m new here blah blah blah… But I think I’ll try the loehmanns plaza next.

The Dollar Tree is my best friend when I am getting ready for back-to-school. I ransack the racks in search for dollar items I can use in the classroom. However, I’ve noticed that even though it’s now mid-October, they still are stocked with some«back-to-school» teacher items. The Dollar Tree actually has a line of products that are competitive with products you might find at your everyday teacher store but you’re not breaking the bank to purchase them. Here’s some of the cool stuff I snagged this year: posters!(2 for a dollar), boxes of pencils, stickers, hall passes, bulletin board trim, and student certificates. I also bought some neat Halloween decorations that will come in handy. The Dollar Tree isn’t like other dollar stores. The products actually cost a dollar and they aren’t total crap. All I can say is, «Thank you, Dollar Tree, for helping a teacher out!»
