An incredibly creative menu with perfect preparation and presentation. One of the owners, our server, is very chatty, almost to a fault. His cocktails are excellent, though. We are regular patrons and are looking forward to their new location in downtown Montgomery.

I went here one time for lunch and dessert. The food is good and I really like the décor. My dessert was wonderful!

Our waiter was moody, not friendly at all. There is $ 50 minimum on credit and debit card. There is a atm in the foyer but they charge $ 2.50 fee. If you come for lunch, you won’t spend that much. I won’t come back. Food was good but not great.

I had the most delicious dinner here! We ate every morsel off of our plates during each course and practically licked them clean! My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary. Every item we ordered was perfect starting with a strawberry basil martini prepared with top shelf liquor. For starters we had the duck wings and calamari. The wings were crispy and had a maple drizzle. Amazing! Calamari was an interesting presentation and the spicy raspberry dipping sauce had a sweet heat that left me wanting more. We ordered the lamb chops and duck entrees. Both were cooked perfectly and the portions were just right. Lemon cake and chocolate mousse for dessert! There was a case of chocolates and truffles in my sight line throughout the meal which I somehow didn’t end up trying. I’ll be back again for sure!

Burger time!!! Amazing root beer bacon burger, one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Good weather, planes and great food, what more can I say; if I lived closer, I would eat here everyday.

Culinary Creations sits on the eastern side of Orange County airport(KMGJ) and has been a popular destination for pilots in my flying club for some time. On weekends with nice weather it’s not uncommon to find a half dozen airplanes on the tarmac in front, and a parking lot full of cars. Upscale in decorations and gastronomic offerings, the café’s menu is reinvented periodically as the chef adopts new ideas or seasonal foods. I’ve never had a bad dish here, though it is on the pricier side. My usual complaint is the inattentive service and unfriendly waitstaff, though this last weekend we had a terrific waitress who was friendly, courteous and attentive. I ordered the Korean steak panini, which featured caramelized onions, provolone cheese and a spicy red chili sauce on a ciabatta bread, served with a field green salad. While the salad was uninspired(essentially a bed of lettuce with a drizzling of an unidentifiable dressing), the sandwich was excellent. The beef was tender and juicy and the bread crunchy. I would have enjoyed having more of the chili sauce on top. My dining companion enjoyed the so-called Creations Burger, topped with caramelized onions, bacon and cheddar, and served with a generous portion of thinly cut fries. Between our burgers and two Cokes each, our bill came to $ 33. I really like how accessible Culinary Creations is for the flying community, and with improved waitstaff, the place continues to be a great place to come for good food. Beware of the new policy: $ 50 minimum for credit cards. Be sure to call ahead, they don’t have a consistent schedule and are sometimes closed for catering events.

Fine for what it is. I’m a pilot so MGJ is a good fly-in spot for lunch or brunch. Today I had the Caesar salad, which was yummy. Service was far too slow for lunch … There were about three tables seated and a quick salad lunch for one took about an hour. Prices are a bit high … If everything were three or four dollars lower, they would be s prime spot. I think traffic would go way up. The restaurant is trying to be upscale with black table cloths and white drapery, but it’s reaching. Pilots yearn for good, inexpensive lunch spots. 44N is almost always crowded. In my view, the price disparity is the driver. $ 25(all in) for a salad, soda and coffee just feels like too much.

The appys were were very good but I can’t say the same for the entrees. Salmon was over cooked, pork osso bucco was fatty and gamy and service is terrible. The owner, dressed in shorts and a hoodie bussed our table without saying a word. Imcheckwd their menu online and was looking forward to, the lobster tacos but it’s not on the menu because the chefs are allergic to lobster(said the waiter). I won’t be back.

Excellent food and great service. We wish they were open for dinner on more nights. Hoefully they consider that down the road.

Not many people can say they flew themselves to lunch! That’s what I did yesterday with my friend Julia. We hadn’t been to the airport more than once each and hadn’t stopped on the ramp to look around. We went into the restaurant and I was surprised by how nice it was for an airport restaurant. The people there were extremely nice. Other reviews may be critical of the service but we had some great hostesses and waitresses. The restaurant has a nice view of the runway and is somewhat quiet. Nice booths, fireplace, high top tables next to the window. The food was really good too! I’ll be back here again with my mom!

Trumps most other restaurants in the area like Nina’s and even John’s Harvest. The chef consistently updates his dishes and keeps his menu fresh with changes that reflect his talent and creativity. The desserts are stellar and absolutely impeccable. The key lime mousse and carrot cake are favorites, the pumpkin cake a perennial superstar as well as his amazing coffee. I have never walked out disappointed.

Don’t let the location fool you, this place is a hidden gem. The food never disappoints, with fresh and interesting lunch choices and the most delicious french fries you will ever have. The chicken salad and the korean steak sandwich are two lunch standouts. The dinner menu is eclectic and the portions are generous and satisfying. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed.

The food continues to be amazing, it’s not enough though to return to this establishment! I’m not one to stress about every detail but the service was severely lacking. Our server was not friendly at all, never smiled once and seemed pained when we asked for anything! We went with kids and they were not kid-friendly and were not helpful in coming up with menu alternatives(there is no kids menu). This is 2014, everyone has a kid menu(or can accommodate kids). So dissapointed…

We flew into the airport and were very pleasantly surprised by the restaurant. After the old restaurant closed a few years back, pilots more or less forgot about this place. We are so happy to have found it again! We had Sunday brunch and both the soft shell crab and quiche were tasty and full of flavor. Service was great — the staff was pleasant and attentive. We will be back.

Good food(not great by any means) poor service. Made reservations and had to wait quite a while with no accommodation for my elder parents while we waited. We were told they were«out of bread» while they served up sandwiches around us. Overpriced and overrated.

Amazing with a wide variety of delectable choices; kid friendly, choices for simpler meals; couple friendly with cute, cozy tables for two pressed up against the windows; family friendly, with bacon(wonderful choice, goes with everything,) pancakes, sandwiches, and other choices. I have yet to find a meal that has not been delectable.

What a delightful restaurant that’s situated on the premise of the Orange County Airport. Though the place isn’t huge, it is cute and serves fresh food at generous portions. Although the staffs are friendly and try their best, there are a few service related hiccups. But again, who’s perfect, right? On a warm day, sitting on the patio and watch planes land is a must. If you are flying in, the transient parking is right across the patio next to the fuel pumps(t-boxes are clearly marked).

We have been at this café once, a group of about 10. Because the food was very good and the décor very nice and eclectic, we decided to come again. They do not take reservations over the phone, so I emailed on 3⁄23 for a reservation on 4⁄1 for 9 people. Did not get a response, on 3⁄27 I e-mailed again and finally got a response, «you are all set» and then 10 minutes later«sorry, we do not serve lunch until May on Tuesdays». That does not speak well for the restaurant. It is a very«snooty» attitude not to accept phone reservations and on top of that no response on an e-mail, only after a reminder. No good! They got to work on that if they want to be successful.

This is a hidden gem with delicious food and fantastic desserts. I was passing through the airport and stopped here for lunch. What a treat!!! The menu was a bit of a shock for an ‘airport diner’ type place, with a wide range of wonderful dishes from beef to pork to chicken and fresh fish as well as a variety of serving options. I would have expected this at an upscale bistro in NY, but not out here in the country. The service was unhurried and polite, and there was no push to move through the meal. The place was more crowded than I expected and now I know why. This is worth the drive if you are in the area and have a good appetite or just want a snack and maybe some delicious candy or other treats to take home…

Like the other reviews have said, Customer service here is horrible. It’s like eating at your favorite place with people who don’t want you there. They don’t greet you number 1. Bad off the bat. Waited for 5 minutes for water and the person to show up. The décor is nice, the food is great,(when you finally get it) but the people have no personality. The cook didn’t say hello when he came out front by the bar. Listen, I got more attention at the Maybrook diner and fed 1 more person for the same amount. Close the door and find new careers. You could also develop some personality, it makes a difference.
