Awful. Called for directions and they were rude! Finally found the place after calling back; went inside and told the girl at the counter I’d like a couple dozen cupcakes (read: I want to spend about $ 50+ at your business) but just drove from across town on my lunch break and need to use the restroom. She told me they don’t allow the public to use their restroom, so I would have to find one and come back. I let her know I was in a hurry and couldn’t come back if I left, but needed to go and couldn’t stand there waiting for a cupcake order to be filled. She apologized. I left. Had to run into a grocery store down the street for cupcakes and bathroom break because I didn’t have time to find another cupcakery with better service.

First of all let me say that this has to be one of the cutest food trucks I’ve ever seen! The cuteness (and the fact I love cupcakes!) made me stop to try them out while they were here in Birmingham. I bought the strawberry cheesecake cupcake. It was a layer of frosting, cupcake, cheesecake and graham cracker crust. It was deliciousness in a cup! Very moist and a pretty cool concept. Will definitely seek them out if I’m visiting Montgomery.

Nothing too special or memorable about the cupcakes. The ones I did order had a very messy frosting job like a little kid did it. I admit I can do better than that. I didn’t care as much since I ate it myself but if I was buying them as a gift for a friend I would reconsider.

Walking around East Chase, we happened to stumble across this cute little shop. Being the cupcake girl that I am, I had to stop in. I was impressed by the simple, yet chic, and clean shop.
On to the cupcakes! So far, I’ve tasted the Turtle Cheesecake, Key
Lime cheesecake, Red Velvet and Banana Pudding cheesecake cupcakes. Really good! Normally, they have about 6 – 8 flavored available per day.
Will return again to this cute and professional sweet spot!

I had high hopes for these cupcakes after seeing the awards won posted in the store. I purchased the red velvet cupcake and the key lime cupcake. The key lime cupcake was a bit dry and did not have a good flavor. I took two bites, but could not finish it due to the taste and the texture of the cupcake. Having grown up in the south, I love red velvet cake and was excited to taste this one. The frosting was topped with pecans which was a plus since most good red velvet cakes have cream cheese frosting with pecans in it. The appearance of the cupcake top that was uncovered by frosting looked dry. The cupcake ended up being moist, but did not have a traditional red velvet cake flavor — I could not detect a hint of cocoa. While it was much better than the key lime cupcake, it was just okay — not the worst, but no way near the best.
One more thing to note is that when I peeled the paper from both cupcakes, the cupcake separated into two pieces — the top and the bottom. It was really strange.

The staff is very sweet with Southern charm, but we were not all too crazy about the cupcakes and the location will make it difficult to sustain business here as it is hidden away at the end of the shopping area.
My husband and I had mixed feelings about the décor. I liked the high table seating. My husband felt it looked old and observed that the store looked like a salon that had been converted into a cupcake shop (we found out this to be true! LOL).
We had the highly recommended, acclaimed favorite, and most sought out Red Velvet Cupcake. We were both underwhelmed. The cupcake was dry, frosting was sloppy and overall the taste wasn’t very appealing. Sad because we were 2 steps away from having dessert at Genghis Grill and opted to try something new… bummer!

This place is super cute, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the cupcake I had was fantastic! I had a key lime cupcake, and it was one of the best cupcakes I’ve ever had… Which is a lot coming from someone who usually doesn’t like cake. This place is a must for out of towners!

I just left this well air conditioned cupcakery. I was impressed by the sales lady and the moist flavorful cupcakes!

Moist and delicious! They taste even better than they look and they look great. Great variety too.
