Dental & Orthodontic Center of Lake Conroe

My dental saga continues!
Once again, I went to a dentist appt this morning only to waste 90 minutes and not get my teeth cleaned. In summary, there was an x-​ray mix up between my previous dentist, my insurance and who I hoped would be my new dentist.
Mix ups happen, but after talking with everyone involved, it seems like this one could have been solved if the women at Dr. Pratt’s office (Dental & Orthodontic Center of Lake Conroe) would have just made a phone call to my previous dentist. Instead, I had to drive over there, have her resend xrays to Dr. Pratt’s office, then go back to Dr. Pratt’s office only to have the same lady tell me that this wasn’t her fault. It wasn’t, but she didn’t try very hard to solve the problem so I once again lost half my morning and didn’t get my teeth clean.
I’m disappointed since this otherwise seemed like a nice place. Others may come here and say wonderful things and would likely be right. But Unilocal is our place to express frustration with poor customer service (among other things) and this qualifies. If Dr. Pratt’s receptionist (or DT, I don’t know what her title was) had even apologized for not just picking up the phone, I wouldn’t have bothered to write this review.
Hopefully Dr. Pratt and his team will take this opportunity to review what kind of organization they want to be when it comes to customer service and use it as an opportunity to do better.
