I would rate this place 5, but service(the manager-like lady with glasses) is very curt, edging rude. Every time I go, I get this curt, snippy vibe from her. Aside from her, this place is probably one of the best karaōke venues I’ve been to– and that includes all the NYC and LA Korean karaokes I’ve been to! It’s clean, pretty new, and has a good myriad of songs. The karaōke machine does judge you– but it’s often very temperamental and it’ll choose when it wants to actually function correctly. Somehow I always ended up getting a 92 or a 96, but my one girl friend who only sings American songs never gets anything but 00, so don’t be terrified at scores at the end(they kind of mean little to nothing). They serve alcohol, which is always a plus for the karaōke environment and letting loose. They also have pretty decent food, too! I find it odd, but they make foreigners pay up front– for everything. Maybe bc they have had issues with people just walking out and not paying. All in all, it’s a good choice for entertainment!

We had ten people comfortably in a medium room and it was a blast. For two hours, it ended up being about $ 5 per person. The instructions for the remote and how to add songs could have been a little better, but we eventually figured it out. Drinks are comparably priced to any other bar, although some in our group thought the selection was small. Didn’t have the food because other reviews said it wasn’t that good. Everything was clean. The service was good, very friendly. Equipment worked fine. There were some key karaōke songs missing from the selection, but all in all we had so much fun, and I highly recommend this place for groups to have a good time.

We went to this place for a Sunday School social for 11th grade girls. It was a lot of fun! However, I asked for a military discount and was told I asked too late and to ask next time because the lady was too lazy to cancel transaction. The room seats about 11 people but it was incredibly cold! The food menu was typical snack food but had fried rice etc.the. Food was awful and a complete ripoff. It was like frozen stuff that they warmed up. The music selection was great and the environment was great and we all had a wonderful time!

A good pastime place, but too little too old Chinese song, can be a little update just fine.

I called a day in advance just to make sure we had a room for a surprise birthday party. But when we got there I realized that they have so many rooms that a reservation was definitely not needed! They have three room sizes depending on your party size. The room was very clean and the mics you receive are sanitized. The couch takes up a good bit of room and is cumbersome to sit everyone due to the stationary table. There are two screens that display the lyrics. They serve food, but we already had dinner so we didn’t try any. They have a bar when you first walk in from outside. We had a room in the back and since they don’t have a server to bring you drinks, you must leave the room to stand in line and get one. But the room is decked out with lights and speakers fit for a drag show and you can’t even hear your neighbors. My party had an absolute blast. We will definitely go back. Also, if you don’t speak Korean make sure not to press it on the remote. We had to have a «service call» because we could not get it back to English easily! But they did give us ten extra minutes of music for us having to try to figure it out.

Omg! I had the most fun ever at this place. I was there for a birthday party and we had the big room. This karaōke palace of fun is located on Bell Road in the old Bruno’s now G-mart shopping center. It used to be Blockbuster Video back in the day! Lol. It definitely has no remains of Blockbuster anymore. We had regular drinks, alcohol, two tambourines, two mics and a book full of Korean and American music. Oh and you can smoke in there too! Not used to that coming from LA. Okay, now when you get on the mic keep in mind the computer will judge and score you. But I don’t know how accurate it is, hahaha! We sang a Korean song, didn’t know Korean and scored 96. Wth!?! All good and we didn’t mind. This is the most fun I’ve had in Montgomery and I’m from there! This karaōke bar is definitely comparable to the ones in Los Angeles. I love his place!!! I will set out one night of karaōke every time I come back to visit. Do-re-mi indeed! PS– you guys definitely need some Michael McDonald in your book. Hahaha.

Loved this place SOMUCH! Came here for the first time with a group of friends a couple of weeks back and had so much fun. I had heard great things about it but I’m one of those people who love to try out things themselves before making an opinion. I thnk two of the best things about it was the private performance room and the song selection. 1) Private Performance Room: although I love to sing that night I wasn’t sounding the best(I had a slight cold), so no feeling self-conscious hahaha 2) Song Selection: I was very impressed with the song selection, there was a very wide variety and it was super fun singing :) So all in all it was a great experience and I’m actually coming back this coming Sunday!

This place is AMAZING. If you can’t tell by my reviews, I don’t care for much in The Gump but Do Re Mi is so much fun. Here’s why it’s awesome: 1) Private performance rooms… no more self-consciousness when belting out N’Sync! The rooms are gorgeous and spacious. We got a smaller sized room but my group of 10 was pretty comfortable. 2) Good prices… went with a group of 10, stayed for two hours and it ended up being about 5 bucks a person 3) Alcohol! No cocktails or well drinks but a decent beer selection 4) Cute accessories. Each room comes with two microphones(with polka dot mic covers), a light up tambourine, and a huge multi-function remote to pick songs and skip selections. The remote is not in English but you can figure it out! I’m in love!
