Jack N Jill Donuts

This is a cool little donut shop. Very mom & pop feel to it. The people that run this shop are always nice. My only complaint is that all and I mean all of their food is pre-​made. They have all of the meat and egg dishes sitting in the display cabinet. I’m a stickler for food safety, so I know that this is not good. Egg and meat dishes need to be either kept at above 145 °F or below 41 °F. That’s to keep the critters (i.e. salmonella, e-​coli, etc…) from colonizing in your food. Donuts are fine out in open air… but again, my concern was the sandwiches. They did look really good! I would just have preferred if they were fresh and not pre-​made.
Other than that, we’ve lived in the neighborhood for 3 years now and it’s always packed. I will probably get the donuts from here, just not the sandwiches.

I’m new to the area and just tried the food from here this morning and I am SO impressed. I got a bacon, egg and cheese croissant and a chocolate éclair type longjohn and they are both delicious! My family and I will definitely be coming back here! :-)

Friendly, smiling folks working there. One of the freshest and best Sausage, Jalapeño and cheese kolaches I’ve ever had. Try it out.
