L A Nails

I’ve been wanting to come here for months because I am in need of a good place that can do the gel art I ask for. Usually not too difficult, but it varies.
I’m from LA, so I thought I’d give it a shot– it turns out, the owner, Paul, is from LA (well, the OC)! Indeed, it is no coincidence that the shop is called LA nails! I’ve come here just once, but I am so happy; I’ve found my new nail shop :) I would recommend calling to make an appointment bc it’s always better to let them know ahead of time (sometimes they close early and to minimalize any potential wait).
The inside of the shop is minimalistic but cute décor, and the shop itself is clean (100 health department rating)! It’s definitely not the best skill and technique I’ve experienced, but I left the shop so happy and feeling like I got my nails done affordably, had awesome conversations, and was in and out quickly! Awesome, awesome service! THAT is what I’m talking about when I treat myself!

I went back in February this year when visiting family. I had such a great experience I actually made a Unilocal account because I wanted to thank these guys! (even though it’s a bit overdue)
I was out running errands that day and wanted to treat myself so I called ahead to make sure they had someone available for a basic pedicure. When I arrived, she was all set up for me with her supplies and warm towels. I don’t get my nails done very often but was introduced to the magic of pedicures by an old girlfriend (and I generally don’t like my feet touched). They offered me something to drink and the pedicure was efficient, all staff I encountered was kind, and I never felt rushed. No one tried to up sell me, but did exactly what I wanted.
Overall it was just everything I needed and I think the total cost was $ 25 before a very generous tip. She communicated well about whether tip could be included on credit card which can be an awkward conversation for people less familiar with nail salons.
I will definitely be going back EVERY time I’m in Montgomery :)

Amazing pedicure! Sadly, I haven’t had a pedicure in about 9 months my husband and I now live in Turkey. We were in Montgomery for business and I decided to call LA Nails in the hopes that they had availability. Paul squeezed me in with the female that works there. It was the most gentle pedicure I’ve ever had. I always go in anticipating a knick here or there or a rough massage, but she was perfection. The chair was comfy as well, which is not always the case. I asked for shellac, so Paul had to stop what he was doing to take care of that part. Again, a beautiful job. They were both amazing and incredibly sweet. This must be why they have dedicated clientele. They had to turn several walk ins and phone calls away due to their books being full.

Whether it is Paul (the owner) or Ms. Tee doing my nails I am always very pleased with the results of my visits. It is a very relaxing atmosphere and everything is very clean. I have been coming here for years and plan to come for many years to come.

Great find! Needed to spruce up for the first day on the job in a new town. Really great job on both the mani and the pedi! Ms. T was incredibly diligent on each step and took great care. The result was professional and really beautiful and my toes and fingers look amazing.

Hooray Spring Break! They were swamped today, but I still came out with a nice mani-​pedi :) I got pastel green for St. Patty’s and considering nail art for next time.
One lady said she read Unilocal reviews, so I blushed alil (did not reveal myself – hehehe). Try to book appt or call to see if they can work you in as it’s a small shop. Worth it & saving a few bucks for that margarita!

I went home for a visit to the parents and decided to treat myself to a summer mani-​pedi before vacay time. Great prices for the mani-​pedi! Each service was a couple of dollars cheaper than at other nail places! I love me a good deal and such a bonus for a graduate student stipend :) Ms. T is the sweetest lady who does pedicures, and she is very good. I’m usually very squeamish when people touch my feet, but felt comfortable around her. I got a classy French pedicure from Paul. From my impression, they like to book appointments in advance, and walk-​ins are taken when they’re avail. I’ll be coming back. For now, onto the beach I come!
