Worst experience at a coffee shop ever. Asked for opinions on a drink, ordered the recommended cinnamon roll. Watched the girl dump syrup in the coffee(literally took the pump off to dump it in the cup). Gave it a try in hopes that she was correct in her measurement and of course it tasted like an excessive amount of syrup. Politely asked for a new one and then while the manager searched for more syrup she then decided without consulting me to make an alternate drink that was not what I was interested in either. So I walk up to the counter to ask for a refund and got a lot of attitude from the manager directly whom I hadn’t even spoke to yet and a response of no refunds. All that she would say is that I’ve already made you two drinks and I can make you another. Rude and disrespectful to say the least. Truly disappointed in this establishment and the way the manager speaks to and deals with customers.

I have been traveling to Montgomery at least once a year for the last four years and every single time this place has been subpar. The drinks are made terribly, the staff is rude and the manager is unreasonable. The cooler does not keep anything cool and all the pastries and food are old and stale. The only thing good about this place is the wifi and couches.

As far as I know this is your only only option after security. The coffee is coffee. What’s nice though is that the place is like a living room with a TV(playing like A&E so you definitely don’t feel like you’re actually out somewhere), couches, recliner chairs, and a table. Last time I was here I took a 20 minute nap undisturbed. Don’t wait until the last minute to get your friends and family Montgomery gifts because you’ll have 3 choices here: Bama crap, Auburn crap, or Christian postcards(decent selection though). (Food(3) + Living Room(5))/2 =4 stars.

Hay… you must have a boarding pass and therefore an airline ticket here… to even get to this place. Come on folks at Montgomery Muggs. Plz make this accessible to others who are in or near the terminal area. I walked there today from Montgomery Aviation, next door to the airline terminal. The gals working front desk here didn’t even know about your non-access.

Great coffee shop. Loved the«Fighter Pilot Spoken Here» sign in the window, too.

Friendly staff, decent environment, but the food is terrible. Unfortunately it’s the only food inside security. That’s what lack of competition will get you.

This was the only restaurant close to our gate. Our sandwiches were ok. The customer service was provided by two zombie slaves right before they were supposed to close. These two had no love of life. Yes, I said zombie slaves because it should not be possible that two people hate their job or human interaction as much as the employees of montgomery muggs on 18 nov 15 do. They have a tip jar that says, «show us some love». Damn! I was completely reciprocal in my attitude by NOT tipping or bussing my table.

Rarely open on time in the morning and customer service is terrible. The owner of this place should be booted and get someone in that cares.

Tried this place at the airport because it’s the only available food option there. By all means, avoid it if you can. Make sure to eat before arriving at the airport if you plan on an extended stay. Or bring your own lunch! Tried one of their flatbread sandwiches, it was basically bread with a block of melted cheese. No flavour, bland tasting and no seasoning. Hopefully the airport develops better food options considering how spacious the airport is.

Simple sandwich and beverages. Nothing fancy, but comfy chairs do help. Quick pit stop before going to Charlotte.

Cute little airport coffee shop. Has recliner couches inside. The shop also sells souvenirs. My breakfast croissant sandwich was pretty good and my husbands white mocha was decent. It wasn’t as good as his Starbucks but he liked it.

I like it. I mean it’s not Starbucks, but most places aren’t. It got the job done. I can definitely tell the difference between my Mocha’s however. I order a Peppermint Mocha and it was decent. Customer service was cool, no issues. I appreciated the comfy couches and television while a friend and I waited to board our flight. There aren’t many options for food/coffee available in this small regional airport but this coffee café sufficed.

I tried the F15 wrap and a blended crème brûlée beverage. The descriptions read great. Unfortunately, what I received was just not good… Neither of the items had any flavor. Additionally, they just did not seem to take any pride in the preparation of the food. Even for airport food this was a disappointment… All in all, just ok at best. I have to note, the staff was super friendly and nice.

They know how to get you, here. You have no choice. Once you are through security Montgomery Mugs is the only way to get a coffee, snacks, or a very very sad sandwich. Service can be slow, the employees are young catty girls. They will also post things incorrectly and then fight you when you inquire. I noticed the sandwiches and salads are the same thing you can get at a gas station. My advice, get a sandwich at subway and then your bottled drinks here after security The furniture inside the place could also use some TLC, cracked and worn leather(well, probably vinyl) and weathered tables..

I found this coffee place to be a surprising, comfortable oasis in a tiny airport where expected nothing better than vending machines. I had a scone and hot tea, so I don’t know how their coffee tastes, but the pastry was quiet fresh and tasty. The seating area was terrifically comfortable. Service was perfect — friendly, prompt and helpful!

I come in here to buy snacks and bottled beverages. Don’t touch the coffee. It’s ew. To their credit, they are super friendly and everything is always really clean. But wow. The coffee. Yuck.

Salesperson stayed on cell phone talking to her mom after I walked up. I waited a bit and finally look at her with my «hello!!!» look. She then flippantly asks if I’m ready. I then ask for brewed coffee and a sausage egg and cheese biscuit. She stayed on cell phone entire time and as a result left my breakfast in microwave WAAAAAAAY too long. It is now a hot steamy soggy, cheese hardened mess that is taking a long time to even handle!!! Oh, and the carpet looks like it hasn’t been vacuumed in weeks! Chips and food covered areas that would have required person to move a piece of furniture to reach the debris. WTH?!? If I could give less than one star, I would.

Love the cozy seats and library like environment. Yes, this is your only choice here, but just like any other airport, prices are elevated. My drink was too sweet, but it was hot.. .

Well you don’t really have a choice here… They have a quite varied coffee menu, but I wasn’t in a coffee mood. Instead I opted for a «grilled» sandwich of the Cuban variety… I was very disappointed to see that none of the sandwiches were prepared fresh. Everything is pre-packaged and reheated or in my case wayyyy overheated… Service was nice and friendly… Some seating and wifi available. Overall not the worst I’ve had for a small airport.
