I have been bringing my cars in to Scannell’s for 8 years and highly recommend them. They are honest, VERY honest. For example: I brought my Mom’s car in for a brake job I thought she needed. They called me back and told me her brakes still had 40% wear left on the brakes. Good luck finding a dealer or chain mechanic that is that honest. They never over charge, and I am always surprised at how low their estimates come in! In this day and age, it is hard to find an honest mechanic, and Scannell’s is as honest as they come. They stand behind their work as well. I had a front end problem on one of my cars, and they thought they had found the problem. They put a whole days work into the repair. When I drove the car away, it wasn’t fixed. They didn’t charge me a dime for the labor that day, and did eventually fix the problem. The only issue I have had with them is for emissions issues. They do not have the expensive equipment on hand to do a leak check on the emission system, so go somewhere else for this kind of issue.
