Just wanted to send you a note in private but your inbox message will not accept it so i am posting this to your public page. Last night we had a 7:15 reservation for 11 guests as an early mothers day dinner with family. Upon arrival i was taken by surprise by the lack of parking which forced me to park at the dumpsters and get out of the car in mud. Your parking lot is a disgrace. 7:15 was the time we reserved but we were told it would be a few minutes to set up table so we huddled in the entry way for almost 20 minutes, continuously having to move out of the way for staff trying to do their job. Upon seating, we were told about your fresh ingredients and that because of this, we should expect a little bit of a wait while the chef prepared our meals. We ordered drinks which took what seemed forever to arrive and when they did, they came one or two at a time, the waitress was confused and continuosly gave the wrong beverages out at the table. In what seemed like a very long time, salads started to arrive and two of my guests were then informed that the soup they order ½ hr ago was no longer available. We swtched one to a salad and one to a different soup. But the dinners were still not even close to arriving. We did not get our meals until 9:35 almost 1 ½ after we ordered. My steak, which i ordered medium(and only after i had to remind the waitress that she never asked how I wanted it cooked) another guest ordered her steak medium rare… both steaks were cooked medium to well done and completely ruined. After waiting over two hours since we arrived, i decided to just try and eat as much of it as p;ossible even though the wattress did say she would have the chef cook another. At this point it was hard to accept that since by that time, the kids were growing restless and i was not about to go back into the chefs purgatory, not knowing how long the second steaks would take. both of us ate these dry, overcooked steaks. I could not eat mine and quit about halfway through. The side dish of potatoes were luke warm and i simply could not eat them either. The wattress was well aware that the plates were wrong and offered this«we decided that if you were ordering dessert, it would be on the House. Only three guests decided to have dessert, upon getting the bill noticed that only one dessert was«on the house» .That was pretty rotten to offer what appeared to all of us as «on the house for the table, not on the house for just one. Your resturaunt has alot to do to impress their guest and it should start by acknowledging your mistakes… both overcooked steaks should have been taken off the bill… that is what high end, classy establishment do. you failed to earn my repeat business and will report this to every major resturaunt guide so nobody else falls victim to this… we left at just after 10pm, what was a crowded place was empty almost 3 hours to complete and i was less than impressed. You should be ashamed. Your response was laughable. You have yet to offer rtestitution. Your staff duped us into ordering desserts under the disguise of «on the House» as if you were trying to make good on the botched steaks(two) not one. Then you charged us for the free desserts and all you have to say was Oops! The way I see it is you owe us two steak meals and three desserts. I expect to be reimbursed ASAP!

Checked into the Homewood Suites and searched Unilocal for a dinner location. What a find! Delicious and generous portion. Made from scratch and fresh pasta. Don’t let the exterior fool you. Appetizers to dessert — you will not be disappointed.

Super personable service. Dined with my wife and two young children. We placed a reservation 15 minutes ahead and upon arrival the table was ready and it just got better from there. Rotolo app was killer! Each of our entrées were prepared by skilled hands and there were abundant offerings for the children. Planning our next visit already!

We had such a wonderful dinner! My children, ages 3 and 7, loved it as well. The waitress informed us that the food may take a little longer since everything is freshly prepared. The wait was worth it! Beautiful pasta and seafood! The pizza had a perfect crust. Well be back again soon!

Recently decided to pop into The Cauldron for the first time-it’s one of those places you drive by a lot, but the outside is so plain looking you tend to not think twice about it. Inside, the décor and feel is very rustic & romantic, with a nice bar area, intimate dining room, and even a pizza area. I’d say the theme is Italian, though by no means your typical fare, as The Cauldron specializes in farm to table dishes with an Italian flair. Lots of seafood dishes, home made pastas, burgers, paninis, pizzas, steaks, and above all, some INCREDIBLE soups. Yes, that’s right, if you are a soup lover, you need to check this place. We got started with some incredible fresh bread, and sampled the mushroom bisque & the seafood bisque with 2 cheeses… both were absolutely incredible. They also had a butternut squash soup as well as a french onion soup made with pumpkin ale… I could have just eaten soup that night and had all 4. We started with some fried calamari, very tasty. For entrees my wife had the grilled bison with crabcakes, which she loved, all cooked to perfection, especially the crab cakes, which was all lump crab and topped with a tasty corn purée. I ordered the mixed seafood sauté(clams, mussels, shrimp, squid) with anchovies, capers, olives, garlic, tomatoes, and chile over fresh linguini. Seafood was awesome and perfectly cooked(monster shrimp!) and the fresh pasta was perfectly cooked. Definitely a huge portion, as I brought half home for a meal the next day. Only negative I’ll mention is that they were a little heavy handed with the anchovy, as the dish was a tad on the salty side, but still quite good. Wine & beer selections were numerous, and we shared a delicious dessert to top it all off. Dinner for 2 was just under $ 100 for the two of us, and we walked out feeling quite full & content. Great atmosphere in the restaurant, and the service was great. We will certainly be back, and soon!

Good food! good menu, entrees come with soup or salad. There were 4 different soups to choose from all of them sounded good. I chose the Pumpkin ale onion soup, it was very good. Wait staff very attentive. Will be going back to try the pizza or burger, both looked delish!

Best Italian food I ever had. The owner sat us down and his daughter was our waitress. Very friendly and attentive. The owner noticed I drink a lot of water so he brought me my own pitcher. The calamari app was delicious. It came with a yummy spicy sauce that was perfect for me but too spicy for my friend. The waitress brought him marinara sauce, which was nice. I had the fennel ravioli, my boyfriend had the fried chicken and waffles, and our friend had the bison. The bison was so juicy, the fried chicken melted in my mouth, and my ravioli was swimming in awesome sauce. I can’t wait to go back and try out the oxygen bar.

I took my teenage son to dinner. Outstanding! The owner is wonderful the food was delicious and the waitress continuously checked up on us. Even though the place was packed we felt like the only people in there … the attention we received was worth every penny.

My recent experience eating at the bar was very nice. Service was relaxed but attentive and responsive, and I was made to feel very welcome. After being served some wonderful bread and tapanade(i think that’s what it’s called, kind of a DIY bruschetta spread, very nice whatever the name!) I started with the meat and cheese antipasto, followed by the special of seafood over tagliatelle. While the app was good, I would have appreciated fewer pieces of each but more variety of meats(maybe some sopresata /pepperoni, and more prosciutto would have been nice). There was a lot of mortedella which I had to steer around due to my nut allergy(it contains pistachio). The cheeses were wonderful! The main course I also enjoyed. I thought it a bit strange seeing the breaded-and-fried calamari included in with the other sautéed seafood(huge gorgeous shrimp and mussels and clams), and would have preferred a bit more pasta underneath it, but it was all very tasty! I will definitely return the next time I’m in the area!

Excellent Italian fair !!! I have enjoyed everything that I have ordered!!! Very intimate setting, great music(not to loud) Yes, you have to wait for your food but that is because everything is made when ordered! I waited 45min for a pizza and would do it again in a heart beat ! Awesome pizza !!! Great selection but order early Thursday through Sunday night!

Friday night 6:30– place wasn’t very full. Service was great, food was even better. I was worried about the bad reviews about service being bad but our accountant waitress was wonderful. I’m not sure how the service would be if the restaurant was full but we give it 5 stars for food alone! Everything was delicious and beautiful presentation.

Not quite sure what happened to my 5 star review for the Cauldron but it is gone. I will repost it. Not sure what is up with Unilocal pulling down positives and leaving negatives… Here was my review: I have done business with this family for 10 years. They are an incredibly hard working family that is very concerned about customer satisfaction and works countless hours every single week. I now live about 40 miles from their restaurant and STILL will go there for my pizza. Where else can you buy a 20 inch pizza as low as $ 10.00 and have it be the best you ever had? All dishes I have gotten there have been outstanding. It is so warming to see there are still places family owned and run, everyone there is a family member who cares about their business I can’t rave enough about them Marty(Formerly from Epicor) If I could give 6 stars. I would

We’ve been there several times but the last time was the worst. The meal took forever to be served(1.5 hrs) wait staff had no clue how to take orders or serve. Never going back. Ps steak was tough like shoe leather for $ 30.00 per plate.

Came here for a dinner with my parents because they had a certificate for use and we could go here. For a table of 6 we know that sometimes service can be slow but this was a total understatement. We were there for over 2 hours and had multiple issues throughout dinner. First we ordered a bottle of wine and that took over 10 minutes to get with only 3 people drinking which we told the waitress, however she still brought out 6 glasses. Now if this place was busy, that would be okay. At the time of ordering wine we were the only table in the place occupied. Funny how another table came in and suddenly there were specials that we were not told about??? We got the wine and had our waters on the table and we did not get a refill of the water until we had to ask right before our entrees came out. I have to say that the bread was great and the mussel appetizer was good. That is where the food stopped being good. The waitress was not attentive to much going on, having to ask multiple times for different items i.e. water, parmesan cheese, butter, bread. It took 60 minutes to get our appetizers, another 10 after that to get our salads and then another 15 minutes after that to get our entrees. I am not a food critic but I know good Italian food and the veal that I got for the saltimbocca was very tough and salty. My dad got the veal parm and his piece of veal looked 3 times as much as my piece of veal, almost looked like he got chicken when he ordered veal. My wife’s chicken francaise was less than appealing. The lasagna was good. The meatball sliders were not great. Overall just a very unappealing experience and I would love to give them a second chance but do not want to have to lose the whole night to get food there.

A surprisingly nice find. They specialize in Italian dishes and also have pub grub and appetizers. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Clean and pleasant atmosphere inside. You have a take out area, dining room and bar area. The portions here ARETREMENDOUS. High quality dishes that are made with care. We went on a slow Sunday night for my mother’s Retirement party so there was very little wait for the food. If you are looking for a place with a friendly staff, quality food with large portions at decent prices in a casual pub type atmosphere, check out the Cauldron. Only cons, place does need an upgrade on the exterior, which I hear they are planning to do. I have driven by here many times and have not seen this place because of poor signage and exterior. Some outdoor seating, a new exterior and maybe even a new name, would do this place some good. I think that the identity of what this restaurant is about and how to find it needs to be more clearly established. This will bring more attention to a great restaurant. Beer taps were not working, they also ran out of some of their bottled beer. But the food and service made up for any inadequacies, try it out with a restaurant .com certificate and save a bunch. I would say go to the Cauldron.

This meal was fresh, perfectly prepared and beautiful. It really was as good as it gets. The appetizer of calamari and the desert of triple chocolate was equally wonderful. This place deserves some attention.

This was the longest I have EVER waited for food. We called ahead for our group of 12 and they welcomed us. 2hrs later our food arrived. Drink service was also inattentive. Portions were small.
