While I am usually crazy about the new Babies ‘R Us stores, this Toys ‘R Us tries to be both a Babies ‘R Us and a Toys ‘R Us store and fails at both. When you enter, the store feels dingy, the carts old and generally unwelcoming(though not because of the staff). The babies section is difficult to navigate as the isles aren’t wide enough to accommodate the carts. Either you have to pick up everything your infant/toddler gets their hands on(since the products are WAY too close to the carts) or you have to squeeze your cart through and hope you don’t knock things down along the way. On the baby side… the clothes are usually a mess with boys and girls clothes merged together, they do not have any cribs setup, the staff is unfamiliar with product brands(I was able to research my desired product faster on my iPhone). On the toddler-teen side… the products aren’t organized by age-appropriate levels making it difficult to find the right toy. Overall, the store wastes useful interior space, the management doesn’t appear to be open to new suggestions, the sign outside looks like it was crafted in the 60’s, and the cart corrals are way too far for anyone to want to use them. In my estimation, it is a necessary evil and if I can get the product elsewhere, I usually do. One last thing, if you have a coupon make sure to read the fine print. Many coupons are only viable for infant only items, not toddler products.

It’s dated and needs upgrades. Feels like I stepped back in time 20 years or so when coming here. The selection is decent, but a lot of the space seems to be dedicated to babies. Service is helpful.
