I’m in Minnesota visiting from Seattle. Chin Yuen’s wontons are easily the best I’ve ever had. The Midwest has it’s own style of Chinese food that you can’t get other places. We have amazing authentic Chinese food in Seattle — «Sichuan Cuisine Restaurant» in Chinatown is my favorite. Order the fish soup — but I also love Minnesotan Chinese. I just wish they had the chicken wings with oyster sauce and diced onion I remember from their restaurant in Elk River on highway 10. Favorites are Sichuan chicken and lo mein.

A «Chinese» Restaurant that can’t even make a decent Chow Mein I try to stay away from.

I shared the house egg rolls, Kung Pao Chicken, General Tsao Chicken, Chicken Lo Mein,& the Sweet & Sour Chicken with my bf and we liked everything. The Kung Pao Chicken had a bit more sauce than we are use to and the Lo Mein noodles weren’t traditional but they both still tasted good and you can tell they use fresh chicken. We also ordered everything super spicy and were very disappointed with how unspicy everything was.

Would not go again… The food was not great, everything was way too sweet, bland and greasy. Just not much taste overall for what you are paying for… Used to be much better…
