Unusual for a small park like Indiana Beach, The Den of Lost Thieves is an interactive dark ride that has undergone minimal changes since it opened several decades ago. Sitting in a two person car, a powered track takes you through a piratey-themed layout, where you shoot at targets to accumulate points in an effort to beat your partner next to you. Now while DoLT isn’t in particularly bad shape, it’s not in tip-top operating condition, either. This was easily our longest wait of the day(~30 minutes), since some people were opting to ride by themselves(to «dual-wield» the light guns, which is actually stupid since your accuracy drops substantially). It’s still a fun dark ride after all these years… I just wish the queue line had a fan or air conditioning.
