Because the dollar store in town isn’t as nice as your usual Dollar Tree, you might want to try Dollar General. It’s clean, well organized and cheaper than Walmart for lots of off brand products, but the selection isn’t as large, quality isn’t as good — you get what you pay for. The staff is friendly, and one of the recycling centers is right behind it. I stop by when I’ve forgotten batteries, light bulbs and toilet cleaner at Walmart and Rural King.
