This is a department in Dye Lumber in the back of the store. A nice, little old man does all the paperwork and collects the rental fee for the equipment rented out. We called to ask for their tiniest tiller that we could physically carry down a flight of concrete steps to our lake front. He had just the thing and told us he would hold it for us. In the 20 minutes it took us to get to Dye Lumber, two other people had come in and asked for the same tiller, but he told them, no, it was reserved. He never even asked us our name but took our word for it that we would be there. The tiny tiller cost $ 11.00 for 2 hours. I am never ever buying a tiller when I can rent one for that cheap, and it worked like a charm.

Great local lumber yard.. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, good luck getting that at a big box store (if you can find someone). Good selection on hand and they can special order about anything. Prices are competitive, they matched my roofing quote from Home Depot plus offered free delivery.

Great customer service. I get things there a lot. Most recently for roofing materials. They made suggestions on things I may need. Plus the delivery was free. Best of all they have a ladder to lift the bundles of shingles up to the roof which was a huge time and back saver!
