Taking a little break from the campground festivities, Sweetie and I took a couple of the younger cousins down here. She had never been on a go cart and it had been years, probably decades, for me. It’s a little place, but luckily it wasn’t busy when we got there on a Saturday afternoon. We drove by Friday and Saturday evening and it was packed. The staff were friendly, and gave us a little spiel before we drove. Prices are reasonable, $ 8 for about 10 minutes, which is enough to wear some folks out. Most of us went back for another run since no one was waiting to try next. The cars vary in age but are all about the same speed. It’d be nice to go faster on the straights, but floor it through the corners and you’ll have a good ride. I would go back if we are in the area again, but I may have to search out bigger, faster tracks closer to home.
