Awful is the only courteous work that I can think of, to describe this facility. I told the technician that I wanted to pull my(nearly brand new) car in, so as not get oil and grease on the upholstery. The technicians clothing was filthy. I was told that I could not pull it in because of safety issues. I asked them if they had a plastic seat cover they could put on the seat to protect it, and was told no, that they didn’t have them. I was them told that a(I think they called them a courtesy technician who did no work on the vehicles) would pull it in.(This is odd considering that I have always been allowed to pull my car in at Jiffylube in the past). I didn’t feel like arguing so I conceded. I waited and then watch to my horror as the same filthy technician gets inside my car to pull it in. The technician opened the door and set off my alarm because I had mistakenly armed it(they had the key and fab). The technician couldn’t figure out how to turn it off initially, at which point another technician began yelling and swearing at them. The technician also was not able to drive a manual transmission(which my vehicle is). That fact lead to another barrage of swearing and yelling from one technician to the other. All the while, the person whom I assume was the manager was watching this take place, and did absolutely nothing to deal with the situation. I will also add that one technician had their shirt untucked and was wearing shorts and tennis shoes, another had their shirt untucked, and all of the technicians looked as if they hadn’t washed their uniforms in days. Now… I understand this is a line shop, and don’t expect everyone to be pristinely clean… But I worked in a lube shop in high school, and we all were required to come to work with clean uniforms, have our shirts tucked in, and to treat all of our fellow employees with dignity and respect. On a side note, there were 4 technicians working, including the one in the pit, and I was there nearly an hour(and it wasn’t that busy). In fact most of the time at least two of the employees were just standing around and watching. I might also add that when I arrived, one vehicle was nearly finished, the next was finished shortly after that, and there was an empty bay when I arrived(again with two employees standing around watching) I will never be coming to this or any jiffy lube again! UPDATE: I called customer service to let them know of my experience right after I left. The rep took my information and told me that the District manager would call me within 48 – 72 hours… That was in the 21st… After a week went by with no call, I called back on the 28th. Again the rep said he would contact the district manager and he would be in took very soon. I finally received a call 2 days later from district manager. The manager was very nice, and said that he would take care of the problem. I also mentioned that I bought my car new, and after the 3rd ever oil change took to the dealership as I had received a coupon, instead if using jiffy lube. The dealership notified me that my skid plate was missing several bolts and push pins from the last oil change(jiffy lube). The district manager kindly told me that he would call his best manager at another location, and that the manager would be in contact with me in a few days to have the bolts and push pins replaced. It is now over a week later, and I’ve still not heard from the manager. I’m thinking I likely never will. I wanted to be able to give them the benefit of the doubt, and raise the rating, but alas, it stays 1 star. My recommendation … Spend the extra $ 10.00 and go to the dealership. They use seat covers, floor protectors, do the work right the first time, and wash your car for free as well.
