We needed a checking account in Monticello, IN where we could deposit money for home repairs. There is a branch in Walmart which makes it the most convenient bank for me in town. They offer lots of free conveniences, like online banking, atm cards, checks, etc., like all banks, but more than that, they give us completely free checking, as long as we make one transaction a month or three months. Something like that. Since I only deposit a check monthly via mail, and I may write a check three times a year from this account, it’s perfect! Did I mention it’s completely free? Yah!
