Marty’s Service Center

Due to my fuel pump giving out on 17, I had to have my car towed. It was brought to Marty’s. I cannot recommend the establishment to anyone. An employee behind the counter sat watching a dvd with headphones on even though I stood directly in front of her. I spoke with another employee who then asked a mechanic to find someone else to talk to me. Someone else was «in the crapper» and so the mechanic, quite upset about the task, had to find me someone else to talk to. That person didn’t have anything to say to me either. Eventually, the towtruck driver gave me a workorder to fill out. Did I mention that on the drive from Liberty to Monticello the towtruck driver spent most of the ride on his cellphone referring to someone on the other end as «f***ing b****?» The waitress at the local diner informed the place is not well thought of locally, telling me «they’re thieves.» Based on the $ 170 fuel pump that I priced at $ 70 earlier in the morning, I’d have to agree.
