I had been trying to buy a particular bike from the Minneapolis dealers for a while, and after a fair amount of frustration I called up Moon. In 5 minutes, they were able to answer questions I had been waiting weeks to get answers to. After waiting for the other dealers to respond, I finally called up Moon and ordered the bike site unseen. When I arrived at the location, a fair distance away from me, I was pleasantly surprised by the immaculate show room, and their selection of bikes. All of the staff were very helpful, and buying my dream motorcycle couldn’t have been easier. I would recommend Moon to anyone looking for a bike.

The move to new quarters brought a renewed focus on customer service on the sales floor. Gone are the lackadaisical attitudes, replaced by helpful, friendly sales staff who will help when needed and back off when not. I appreciate the vastly expanded selection of accessories and clothing, all fairly priced(sale items particularly so). What is unchanged? The crack service team. Service Manager Brian Aurentz has been with Moon forever, as has master BMW mechanic Earl Moon. The service team is honest, skilled, and quite simply a pleasure to work with. Though I have other options closer to me, I will without question drive the 50 miles one way to have Moon work on my bike. I do this because I know I will be treated with respect, courtesy and honesty, and my bike will be fixed right, the first time, for a fair price. My highest recommendation for this outfit is given without reservation.

My experience with Moon Motorsports was exceptional. I purchased a new 2013 Bonneville T100 from them, over the phone, after doing tons of research. From my first contact with them(Matt), over probably a dozen follow-up calls, and finally picking up the bike(Thanks Kyle!) and driving 190 miles home, Moon staff were knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, and helpful. Far and away the best vehicle buying experience I’ve had. I have no hesitation sending anyone to Moon Motorsports.

**** UPDATE****** Ok, so maybe I jumped the gun with my review and have changed my rating based on recent experience and communication with the service department. I received a call from the original contact person and we cleared the air. They have the bike now and I’m waiting to hear how the repairs and maintenance come out. ***** PREVIOUSREVIEW***** I’d say my review is mixed. Definitely not what I expect from a service department in terms of customer service. But once I got them to do what they said they would do, the finished product was good. On 2 separate occasions spanning a few months, the communication and follow through from the service department staff was unacceptable. Most recently I spoke to 2 different people on 2 separate dates to schedule a pickup and service for my motorcycle. On both occasions they did not show on the day they said they would pick up, and did not call to reschedule. Each time I gave them an alternate person to contact in case they could not reach me. I guess I’ll have to take my service business elsewhere and I probably wouldn’t buy a new motorcycle from them.
