This is a fine golf course and the price is right for golfers like us, and for golfers like us, I mean people who know how to golf but haven’t grasped the ability to do so well. It’s nicer than the farm in MI we used to golf at. There are large greens with sand traps(which are packed down so hard it’s like packed down dirt) but the greens are rolling and fast. The terrain is challenging with clusters of trees, swampy ponds, tall prairie grass patches and holes which are close and parallel in opposite directions so you cross often with other golfers ahead of you playing a few holes ahead of you. A round of golf with golf cart costs $ 25.00 for one person. There wasn’t a lot of people golfing on Sunday at 4:00 p.m., and after 3 hours when we finished, the club house was closed and we just deposited out golf cart keys in a mailbox. While golfing last week, we saw 6 deer on the course. They were skinny and foraging for brush on the course. We also saw a woodchuck scuttle by. One side of the golf course is 6th street and the other side of the course seems to be undeveloped forest.
