All beers had a strange chemical aftertaste. We bought a sampler and had to leave it behind. The guest beers were ok but I still had the chemical taste in my mouth possibly from drinking HBC beers first or there was a problem with the lines. The setting itself was nice but I will not be visiting again unless there is an improvement in their beers.

The good: beautiful barn, cool design, nice tunes, free popcorn. The bartender working on the day that I went in was so friendly and welcoming. I didn’t spend too much time talking to her, but overheard her conversations with other patrons and she seemed very knowledgeable about the business. The bad: Two of their beers they had just run out of. Consolation: they do carry many beers from other area brewers. The ugly: I asked for one of the Heavily beers in a flight, the bartender warned me that something was off about it and she would give me a taste before adding it to a flight. I tasted it and it tasted horrible! HORRIBLE. Thank goodness she warned me, but I think as a business you just have to know when to cut your losses and say that a beer is not even serve-able. The couple Heavily beers I did try were ok. They weren’t my styles of choice, but as I mentioned they had run out of my first two choices and since I had already gone out of my way to come to their brewery I wanted to taste what they were making. I would stop by again if in the area, but not go out of my way.

I love love love the décor of this place. Driving up to this place is so cool, it’s far back on the hills with all the amenities you need! Tons of parking, outdoor and indoor space is a huge plus and there is an upstairs! We walked in and we were blown away with how the place is set up, the signs on the wall are great, two dart boards, Jenga, and huge couches to lounge around. I really liked the bar top and the fact that it was a fallen tree that they made into the bar top was even more amazing. They have a photo book you can look through to see the progress from the beginning to the end, which is really amazing to see how it all started and now! I didn’t try the beers, I was DD so I play it safe. My +1 said their beers were alright, a little to yeasty for his own personal taste. He really loved how they had all different types of beers so even if you want to try other local breweries without driving the whole way– you can! Outdoor seating with chairs and picnic tables are awesome during the day and in good weather. Even if it gets a little too hot, you can move some of the chairs to the shade(and the armrests will hold the sampler, fyi ;]). There is a reuben sandwich you can order to eat, plus pickles and chips. I wish there was more to eat but this place has recently opened so maybe they’ll add to the menu a little more for us veg eaters. Great place to hang out, it’s open later then most so go visit.

Stopped in here for my first time. Not a bad place. Service was good kind of had to start the conversation with the bartender very quiet. Beer was not the best but they had some other local brews on which was nice.

Found HBC via Unilocal and glad we did. Liked both of their beers but also had a good selection of other local breweries. We look forward to another visit this summer when they have more of their own beer on tap. Highly recommended!

What an amazing find! Great atmosphere, great wines and beers, all in a cute restored barn! Went on Saturday evening with live music. If I was from the area, you could find me there every weekend.

Great location and view from atop of the hills over Montour Falls. The owners have converted an old farm barn into a beautiful brewery, tasting room and lounge, come enjoy great local brews and free popcorn! I visited on a cold winter afternoon and they had a nice warm fire going in the pellet stove/fireplace. Nice bar with plenty of seating and a lounge next to the fireplace with soft leather seats. They appear to serve food also, however I was unable to study the menu. They serve other local brews as well as there own. I drank a cold water pale ale and it was very nice! This must be a local favorite as it has a steady flow of visitors. If you like darts, they have a nice area to play! In short. This is a great place, very inviting. A must visit when in this little town! Cheers!

A great place to try out different local brews, including their own excellent varieties. Warm and inviting, with an amazing view. A must stop for any Finger Lakes wine or brewery tour, or a great place to just drop in for a beer and a game of darts.
