If you are looking for a place to sleep and shower, and nothing else, this is the place. We checked in about midnight with no problems. Beds were nice. Shower worked. Left bright and early the next morning. That’s all we needed/wanted. They have«complimentary breakfast buffet» that consisted of cereal, pastry, and orange juice that tasted old. We skipped it and ate at the«Four Seasons» next door.

The Evolution of the Electronic Key: This ever happen to you? You check into a Hotel, get your [electronic] key, take 2 handfuls of stuff from your vehicle get to the door, and the key doesn’t work? Happened to me at this hotel and I wasn’t too thrilled about it. Fortunately Montpelier Ohio isn’t like Detroit Michigan so I left my items at the door just long enough to coax someone from the hotel to get my door open. His key didn’t work either because the mechanism itself wasn’t working so he used the old fashioned and dependable mechanical key. He asked if this would be alright. Since it was late and I would only stay this one night, never to return, I lied«yes, no problem.»

Stayed here on a cross country trip from Minnesota to New Hampshire. A convenient location right off Route 90. The rooms were clean and spacious and the price reasonable. There is an excellent family restaurant right next door«The Four Seasons Family Restaurant» which has very good sandwiches and an excellent breakfast.

Absolutely agree with the other reviews. This is a perfectly adequate, even moderately pleasant, basic motel off of I-80. The Ramada across the street quoted me $ 79, or $ 89 for a jacuzzi room, but I was looking to save and was quite happy to stay at the Econolodge for $ 65 plus tax. Good free wi-fi, a nice big king-sized bed, and clean, up to date rooms and bathrooms.

This is an affordable, reasonably pleasant highwayside motel. Nothing special, but just fine for a quick overnight rest stop. The room was clean, shower pretty new, and front desk staff was reasonably friendly. We paid $ 65 with tax.

This Econo Lodge, was exactly the sort of bland accommodation that you’d expect from a motel style location easily found off of the interstate. We checked in at 2:00am, and there was an attendant at the desk. He appeared to be sleeping in the back, but was still very professional and prompt with his service. Our room was a spacious king sized bed. The bedding and room was clean and fresh, and did not reek of an overabundance of cleaning supplies. The carpets and walls looked relatively new. Everything was bland and nondescript. My only complaint was that someone had put a border up in the bathroom, which had promptly fallen down due to the steam from the shower. It drooped over us as we were showering in the morning. This, however, was a small thing, and the shower itself was clean and descent. Please note that there is NOTHING nearby. There’s a couple small family styled dubious looking family style restaurants, which we decided to forgo in pursuit of a McDonald’s further down the path. This motel did not offer a continental breakfast. Overall, a fine reasonably priced hotel room.
