I got quotes and several bids for my home theater build. Many of them had 50+ positive reviews on Unilocal.The reason I went with Eric (the owner) and Cybermedix was that he was the most knowledgeable of bunch. He did not try to steer me toward the most expensive equipment and he was honest from the get go.
He listened to what we wanted as a family and he was open to answering questions and not making a non AV guy feel stupid. His pricing was fair for the equipment and the install services that he offered. He also had a customized written proposal with optional upgrades.
He takes pride in his work and is a perfectionist and is very responsive — he answers phone calls and texts usually within minutes. He is a busy guy but works long hours when he needs to and will schedule a consult around a customer’s availability when most AV guys want to meet up during work hours.
