Days Inn Montrose

The room was clean so I’ll give them that but it smelled of cigarettes. There were 3 towels in a room which was intended for 4. The hotel has had better days as you can tell by the pictures I’ve posted. I’ll never stay here again and wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here either.

Good stay for the price, a little old and could use some updating. The best part is the free full breakfast. Bathrooms are small but all amenities are in the rooms along with free wi-​fi. The hotel offers out door pool and is 2 stories but no issues with upstairs in our stay.

Very nice stay. Room was clean and comfortable and had all the required amenities (blow dryer, microwave, mini fridge). The staff were all friendly and helpful and the breakfast was superior to many higher end hotels I’ve stayed in. I wouldn’t hesitate to book a room here again.

We did not intend on staying in Montrose but this was the last affordable room that we could find in the area when we made our reservations two weeks ahead. On arrival the staff was busy trying to find rooms in the area for others who had not gotten reservations, which I felt was a nice courtesy although at that hour the pickings were going to be slim. I was warmly greeted and the front clerk had restaurant ideas for us (we went to the Camp Robber). Having checked in on Unilocal I was given a basket of snacks and bottled water which is a nice way to bribe a review out of me :-) The room is clean, but dated. Considering the price point I was pleasantly surprised. I found the beds to be comfortable, there is no lack of hot water and I did not notice any noise. The free breakfast in the morning is a great perk with eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal and fruit with a decent sized seating area. I normally skip hotel breakfast due to poor food and it tends to be over crowded but that was not the case here. The biggest issue here is the parking lot is tight. If you have a large truck or you’re pulling a trailer you may run into problems. Coming in rather late I had to settle for a less than ideal space but this is not an issue for me and I feel they made the lot the best that they can considering what they ha E to work with. If I’m in Montrose again I’ll be staying here.

Our motorcycle group stayed there in the last week of June 2014. It was a great place, very clean and the staff was most hospitable. I would definitely stay there again! Thanks.

Good for the price
My biggest complaint –We stayed for 3 nights and every time we got on the bed the sheets came off. Not the top sheet… all of it. It wasn’t too much fun.
However, I did think everyone was helpful and nice. The free breakfast was okay… it was pretty crowded and things ran out quick, but it was included in the hotel price.
Not too shabby.

Service was great and rooms were clean. For the price, this is the best value in town because of the FREE breakfast.
Bravo to the Days Inn management and staff!
