Love to just walk in and get your favorite flavors right in front of you, then go get your topings and you are set! Neighborhood gem!!!

Been coming here for some time now. I have to say the prices going up and the quality slipping is leaving an unagreeable taste in my mouth. Today they were out of cookie dough with egg. They were out of marshmallow sauce topping. They were out of strawberries. They were out of Carmel topping sauce. They must of changed their source for yogurt because it’s not as flavorful as it used to be even a few months ago. Even the napkins have been replaced with a cheaper grade. When I mentioned it to the young man behind the counter he took personal offense at it. Like it was his fault. He snatched my card from my hand in a rude and abrupt way and was just miffed in typical La Canada spoiled teenager fashion. Instead of using it as an opportunity to pass the information on to the owner and apologize he turned it into a negative situation. This a is the problem when you have no competition and you rest and became complacent as a business. Yogurt-land or some other yogurt place, please set up shop in montrose and give this place a run for the money. You are only good fro-yo as your last happy customer. You really struck out tonight. Kid behind the counter did not help. I’ll be looking for a replacement. At some point, the rude service and poor experience outweigh the convenience of this place and I think I’m already there.

Bomb froyo for cheap prices. It’s got tons of toppings to choose from too.

Who doesn’t love froyo I mean cmmmoooon??? The ONLY reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I wish there was a bit more variety(in both flavors and topics). I’m the type of girl that likes multiple options(yet I still prefer OG tart: P)

I liked the self service. Get what you want how much you want. There were around 12 flavors, i tried the nutella, it was great. Looking forward to come here again

Came on Valentine’s day with my 5-year old, wonderful service and great tasting yogurt. Keep up the good work!

Ok, I hate frozen yogurt. I’m more of an ice cream girl but this place is the only frozen yogurt I can tolerate. It’s very tasty. They have over 13 flavors. It’s definitely the best froyo I’ve had so far. The only downside is that they as always packed and don’t have any seating outside.

Not as many flavors and toppings as Yogurtland, but it gets the job done. The flavors themselves are usually pretty good and the toppings are always fresh. The staff always has a smile on their faces and are very friendly when ringing you up!

FroyoLife is perfect place to enjoy time with family and have good quality yogurt with lots of toppings to choose from. Location can’t be better. We always get some table games to play while enjoying our frozen yogurt. The best place to park is behind Starbucks. Huge 3 hour free parking lot.

This is a good alternative to Menchies. Came here with the kids after dinner for a snack — the frozen yogurt options were extensive and good(no weird flavored). My only minor complaint would be that they don’t have little sample cups you can use to taste a flavor before buying it. Other than that, I thought the yogurt was great.

Great variety of flavors, but PLEASE don’t mop the floor when customers are walking around. Wait until the store is empty. I almost slipped and had a major accident.

Those who know me well, knowz I am all about dat fro-yo lyfe. This was my first taste of «FroyoLife» though. It’s A-OK for the most part, and I do like getting my own cup, filling it and skooping my own toppings. * strawberry banana, no sugar added * peach, non-fat * original tart * orange sorbetto Tart Original, Peach and Orange Sorbetto were good. Strawberry Banana, unfortunately, tasted as well as looked blehh, and too artificial. Replacement sweetener did not work, I suppose? Piling on the mango, kiwi and a couple of lychees compensated. Froyo Life is on a busy corner of Montrose’s main street and quite the mad-house when we hit. Inside and out. Children swarming the entrance, running around, playing outside. I have a bottomless pit of appetite for this frozen treat. So thanks my fro-yo confrère(well, technically«consœur») and pookie woo sis, for locking into this shop. Although not quite the Fro-yo Love of my Life, Froyo-Life is still kool.

They have great flavors here! I like the self-serve concept a lot. The staff is always helpful and efficient. I’m glad I don’t live closer or I might come here too often.

So they finally brought back the Taro flavored yogurt. And it was so good I had to bring some home with me to go, as I will be recovering from oral surgery and need something soft and yummy and cool to help me during recovery. This place has a nice young, pleasant vibe. A lot of high school and young college kids work here. The music is not as good as Froyolife in Los Feliz but I sit outside anyway. In short, the yogurt is good and the shop is clean. And if you have good Taro, then you’ll have my business. Thanks, Froyolife Montrose!

Great place to go with friends. Not as many flavors as yogurtland but they sill have a good selection. My favorite is the Nutella flavor and sinful chocolate. Also plain tart is always delicious. The location is good because it’s on the Montrose Boardwalk so you can sit inside of Froyo or you can walk around. Going at night is really nice and romantic because the trees have Christmas type lights wrapped around them and the street is just lit up really nicely. I’d say it’s for a good price too and it’s clean and they have games there.

My sister and I are here almost every day! We have so many points that we don’t know what to do with them. The staff is pleasant, everything else is self service which is amazing because you can out as much or as a little of anything you want! My sister and I tend to stuff our Froyo to the top so our bill is usually $ 14 altogether but hey, frozen yogurt is amazing! When this place opened up a few years back, or should I say a tad longer, I don’t believe I have ate ice-cream after trying Froyo! Sadly, my specific account has a lot of points but I never purchased the little card with Froyo since I signed up with just my email, so I can’t redeem my points which is a huge bummer :(

This place is way better then most places. You are able to select which size container you want, then you put in as much flavored yogurt as you want and then you put as many toppings that you want and there is no limit as to how much you can put in your container, then you weigh out the container and you pay by weight. How simple is that? Just eat and enjoy…

I already knew it wasn’t going to be good. But because my little pumpkin insisted to try this froyo place, we walked 400 meters from Color Me Mine. I had the tart(origjnal flavor for judgment purposes) and dulce de Leche(my first taste) topped with mochi, strawberries and kiwis and she had strawberry shortcake topped with red gummy bears and m&m’s. The result? My daughter described it,“nasty”. I described it as a low-quality frozen yogurt. Same average price as the famous Yogurtland, smoothness and texture were terrible. The tart didn’t have the big tangy taste that I was looking for. They have wide variety of toppings, a fun place for sure but not for someone who had experienced better tasting yogurt. This place is a hit in this area because it was really crowded. I guess there was no other quality yogurt shop around. But I would rather travel a little father to La Canada for the best yogurt by far and unbeatable, PINKBERRY. You’re welcome!

How can there be a yogurt place without my review? My gosh. The topping choices… You can have anything from caramel topped apples to candy and cereal. The caramel syrup is to die for. Service is always on point. I love coming here because I get a lot of yogurt with a variety of toppings and the price is perfect. For parking, I park by the coffee bean parking lot or the one behind Starbucks which is a 4 hour parking lot. I rarely park on the street with meters because 1st there’s rarely parking available and 2nd it’s much easier to just park in a lot than suffer with street parking. Perks about Montrose: lots of pups. Froyo has a water bowl upfront for thirsty pups. I love when stores do that. It’s their way of saying«I’m sorry your dog can’t come in due to health concerns, but here’s a water bowl.» Sweet gesture!

Another sugar craving filled at FroyoLife with my son. Cute store, spacious, clean, nice service. My son made himself a bowl and really enjoyed it, prices are fair. I had a few samples and nothing stood out as to me needing to get my own cup, so I won’t be out of my way to come bacl. Descent selection of both flavors and toppings, all the regular offerings, perfect for kids.
