I love this library. It’s large and spacious, with a great view and plenty of places to sit and read or work on your laptop. They also have a number of rooms that can be reserved in the upstairs level, along with a Café room that features magazines, a Keurig and couches. There is also a gallery and small outdoor patio.

This is such a great library and I’ve been to a lot of libraries. I always get the help I need when I go into this place, not to mention fantastic book suggestions. If they don’t have the book you want because it is pretty small compared to other libraries, they can order it for you from another library in the west cheater area and they will tell you when to pick it up. I also like that you can access your library card account online so that if you can’t get to the library in time to return your books you can renew them! I’m always forgetting dates so that’s a life saver.

We love coming to events here, whether they be art or literature related. In this case, we attended a book signing, with about 50 attendees.
The library provides a comfortable atmosphere for these types of gatherings, can accommodate food and drink, and plenty of parking.
They also have a large selection of books on tape, DVDs, as well as books and research materials — with librarians standing by to assist.
