Nice little place to grab a light bite to eat. Would have been five stars but the machine would not accept my debit card glad my girl friend was with me. But still a cool little coffee in the middle of the country.

This is my first visit and I’m officially in love with this place! I got the Rembrandt sandwich which is roast beef, cheddar and bistro sauce on Panini bread which comes with a choice of 3 sides: pasta salad, potato salad and chips. I chose the potato salad with a little fear. Most places just don’t get it right. I was not disappointed. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. I also got a peach smoothie. My daughter is picky. She picked out a blueberry pastry and ordered the grilled cheese sandwich with chips as well as a banana strawberry smoothie. We both also received a chocolate chip cookie. My daughter enjoyed everything and wants to come back for breakfast one day which means they definitely pleased her picky palate! Do yourself a favor and stop here if you are in the area!

Seriously a TOTALRIP-OFF! $ 8.00 for a half a sandwich with slimy tomato and old lettuce, a tiny scoop of potato salad and 2 dried up carrot sticks! Will definitely not go back and oh by the way was noon and originally ordered chicken salad and was told they were still cooking the chicken… then don’t offer it and maybe plan better. Good Luck with business — u r going to need it.

We stumbled upon this great coffee shop on Sunday October 26. What a lucky find! With the help of this app! Great atmosphere. We each had a wonderful breakfast. The coffee was excellent, of course. The staff was super friendly. Really enjoyed it. We liked it so much that we went back a few hours later for another coffee and a smoothie. Very good again! Great location. Easy to find. Looking forward to our next visit!

I have eaten here a couple of times now for lunch. Both times staff has been friendly. Sandwiches and quiche were simple but good. Coffee and iced teas are good as well. Items that you can pass on… pasta salad and homemade cookie served with your sandwich. You have the choice of pasta salad, potato salad or a bag of chips. Personally, I’d opt for the potato salad or the chips. The«homemade» cookie is far from that — it’s frozen dough they baked — it’s fine but don’t get too excited! I’ll keep going back — sandwiches are tasty and I look forward to trying breakfast sometime. Atmosphere is casual and interesting.

Great little spot after a long drive to grab a sandwich or maybe some hot soup. Nice collection of art and the place has great personality(converted old service station?). Really a must stop in the Northern Neck.

Great little coffee place in Montross! All kinds of coffee drinks, and very reasonably priced. Lots of breakfast options, and what I had was yummy and freshly made. Thought the people in there were friendly enough, and it had a nice hometown, artsy vibe to it. GLAD to have found this little place while in Montross, and would certainly stop by again — especially on my way to Westmoreland State Park!

Very unhappy with their attitude. Was very impressed with their menu however. Wish they had made me feel more comfortable.

Great little coffee shop find during our trip along the chesapeake wine trail. We stopped for breakfast and the staff was very friendly and accommodating to our varying requests. The atmosphere is both welcoming and charming. The breakfast selections range from sandwiches to omlets and all that we tried were very tasty. Definitely worth checking it out while in the area!

Great coffee, and great sandwiches! I was staying the area for several weeks and am so happy to have found this place. Every morning I’d stop for some coffee before work. Terry remembered my name and my order after my first stop. :-) The atmosphere is quiet and cozy. They sell artwork and jewelry in the shop. The sandwiches for lunch are yummy, and they serve perfect-sized portions. If/when I come back, I know I’ll be back in the mornings before work AND for lunches too!

Was looking for somewhere in the area for some good breakfast/coffee with local flair. This definitely did the trick. Food was decently priced and coffee is pretty good. Lots of cool art in this old converted garage. My only complaint is that, after ordering our food, the service was a bit slow.

Excellent grilled tuna panani. Good prices. If you’re passing through, definitely stop in for coffee or lunch. After our lunch we ordered americanos. Excellent espresso.

We’ve spent part of every Saturday morning here with our two kids practically since they opened. The owners, Holly and Terry and all the staff are fantastic, and the constantly changing artwork is a treat. Don’t miss a chance to visit if you’re on the Northern Neck!

love this cool café in an old car garage with great light, music, art and food. Coffee is great too! very friendly staff and neat, handmade gifts too. only drawback is the teeny bathroom(single!)
