The party portion of this party I held for my daughter last week was good, the girls had fun and most went off without a hitch. However we had an incident with 2 little girls of African American ethnicity unable to get their hair done. Both little girls(whom are 6) were told they could get a bow, which obviously wasn’t enough since 10 of their friends had their hair«done.» I, was able to do one little girls hair and one of the other mothers ran home to get a little hair piece that I could borrow for the other girl and do her hair. So we were able to «save the day» these little girls just wanted to feel similar to their friends. This issue ruffled some of the parents feathers, which made me feel even worse about this incident –resulting in me to decide to mention this to the owner, Ray. I sent a very friendly email with the information regarding the incident. And mentioned that the glamour truck should really accommodate all ethnic backgrounds, including African American. The party was on May 16th I emailed him on May 17th and still have not heard back. Although they cashed my check on the 18th. Although the party was great I would never refer or use this company again — based solely off their lack of response.
