Horrible. I ordered a bowl of green chili and the waitress brought me a huge plate meal with beans and rice. She also brought another person in our party the wrong dish, blamed it on the kitchen with no attempt to correct our orders, and never brought us water even after it was requested… as if this couldn’t get worse, she did not adjust the tab. I ordered an overpriced bowl of green chili and walked out having paid twice as much for something I didn’t order. Never again.

Just so-so… Been there about 5 times. Not much else Mex. in Monument. First impressions: chips are deep yellow corn… not very tasty. Wait staff attitude and pretty non chalant, not sure why… Food is fairly expensive for what it is. Nothing really grilled or exotic with special spices… You have to ASK what the al a cart dishes are: single taco, burrito, etc… Not on the menu /They only show the combo’s on the menu. Could be so much better.

Three words: Albondigas! Mexican meatball soup. I love it. They make it. Very well! Chile Colorado I order a lot. I choose corn tortillas to avoid wheat; whole beans to avoid fat; and, when I remember, ask for no cheese, no sour cream to avoid dairy. The actual margaritas are ok tasting, potent alcoholically. We are regulars at the Monument 3 Margs and they greet us and know our regular choices. The 11 year old loves the place and the food(well so far just the bean and cheese burrito but I’m sure one day he’ll branch out). This IS the best Mexican restaurant in Monument and it was slammed last Friday night which I am glad to see.
