Good food but not many patrons. Super friendly staff. Atmosphere lacked because we were the only customers on a Saturday night. Would try it again.

Stopped here on the way to Pueblo, CO. So glad we did. Wines are fresh and exciting. True to the flavor without a doubt. Staff was super nice and friendly. Very helpful with traveling tips. Patio was ok. Wish the fence wasn’t there to get a great view. That would make the experience over the top. Platter we had to eat — cheeses, meats, olives, jam, fruit, bread, and this great mustard– it’s first on the menu. Highly recommended. Would surely recommend.

10 stars is not enough ~~~ I’m feeling we are in Corrales, NM, Napa or??? If driving on I-25 get off freeway for a ½ mi drive to this amazing winery. A must stop and enjoy this gem in historic downtown Monument CO A bonafide winery with good wine, small plates, salads, soups and all chef prepared and plated. Hi/standard warm sincere knowledge service. Complementary tastings too

Lovely patio, absolutely delicious wine and a great cheese plate. Can’t wait for warmer weather to come back. The attached shop is cute as well. My favorite was a white wine that tasted distinctly of green apples(Orchard White.) Brought a few bottles home with me. Wonderful!

I knew the owners from when I used to live in Monument years ago and bought wine making supplies. I’m back in the area and heard they converted to nursery into their passion of wine and food. Finally made the visit with a local friend and am so glad I did. I had the cauliflower soup, goat cheese and beet salad with balsamic reduction and classic slider and could not have been happier. Look folks, I do a lot of dining in Denver and across the country and for a small town wine cellar and bistro I am so pleased to see this place pop up and can only hope that local and Colorado Springs folks will find this wonderful gem of Monument. Please give them a try and support your local businesses! It’s worth the drive from COS!!! Oh heavens, I forgot about the wine… can’t forget the wine… they do tastings and from their blended and bottled on site cellar. I only had a small sampling but we did a bottle of the Diva which was a nice mellow blend that made our evening perfect for 2 girlfriends catching up.

This place had great atmosphere, great food and great wine. It’s such a relief to find a local place with a little bit of sophistication. Everything from the pronunciation of their food to their ‘no kids’ house rule ebbed with class.

Got a slider… A slider… $ 6, adult mac-n-cheese, excellent. The wine is good, tried the 243 Red, Red Diva, Celler reserve, and Cellar Reserve Limited. I personally liked the Cellar Reserve Limited. My wife liked the 243 and the limited. Complimentary wine tasting(3) is great you can try before you buy.

We came for lunch and enjoyed the ambiance, the beet salad, the waitress, and the wines. We love that it’s locally owned. We will be back!

Love this place! The service was a little slow but it was a busy night. Great outdoor patio and décor, great food. Only suggestion is more gluten free and dairy free option. Nice wine choices.

Cute place in Monument! Don’t miss it! The red wines are fabulous and the staff are really kind. The food is amazing!!! We had the Swiss onion soup and chicken and Brie sandwich were really great! They make everything home made. Cute outdoor patio. The only bummer is that they are closed on Sunday’s.

Went for lunch. The food was okay. Wine was pretty good. Over the weekend they promoted a ½ price offer on bottles of wine. When our friends asked about the offer to get one to go, they were told dinner and dine in only. Pointed out ad didn’t state that. Told her to go check. Changed it to lunch okay but dine in only. Can’t return to a business which falsely advertises. They proceeded to remove my comment from page and edit post to their liking. I despise crooked proprietors. Will not return.

Wonderful atmosphere and outside patio. Friendly staff, delicious wines. Our party tried the ceasar and beet salads, tomato soup, veggie slider, adult Mac and cheese, market fish which was talapia and the rib eye steaks. All but the rib rye steaks we’re a hit. The steaks we’re cold but the rest of the foods were the perfect temperature. The adult Mac and cheese was creamy and full of flavor. The salads we’re not over dressed, had fresh vegetables and wonderful crunch. Worth the time to go, sit and enjoy. Do the complimentary wine testing prior to eating and pick your wine to go with your meal.

The staff was really cool & super down to earth, Shannon was our waitress — she did an excellent job. The menu is both clever & well executed by the chef. The mac’n’cheese is delicious, & the chef will make it spicy with an excellent BBQ sauce(nice touch, sir!). It did take time for the food to come out, but my wine glass stayed full, the staff was fun to chat with, & the atmosphere has a special, glowing ambiance to it. I didn’t mind the food taking time because they told me up front, & kept the delicious wine coming! Big, cozy blankets were provided for whomever wanted them outside adding to the charm of this place. They do have a «nobody below the age of 18 policy» — I actually enjoy that aspect. It’s charming, cozy, delicious, spirited, & I loved it… If you have a few minutes — check out their shop next door as well! They have everything you could need to brew your own beer or wine(no clue what half of it was, but the staff knew all about it!!!), to cool kitchen utensils I’d never seen before, & candles that smelled amazing!!! Will definitely be back ASAP, & probably will host a holiday dinner in the private cellar.

Refreshing light lunch. We started with bruchetta. Ordered the salmon one and the skinny olive tapanade one. Both were delicious and my husband said it was the best he has had in a long time. We both then had sliders and small salads. The ingredients in all of our dishes were super fresh and vibrant tasting. The quality can definitely be tasted. The only reason we took away one star was due to the price. It was a little on the expensive side but you surely get what you pay for.

What a fabulous restaurant! I’ve waited 10 years to find someone who could make homemade duck pâté like the pâté I found in England. WOW just delicious! We started with a FREE wine tasting at the bar then indulged in pâté, homemade Mac-n-Cheese and a delicious beet salad. The service was top notch, the owners visited our table making sure we were enjoying our meal. Only negative, the timing of our meal was a bit slow but the atmosphere was so delightful we didn’t fuss. Their new chef has been there only 5 weeks and has completely changed the menu. He takes great care how his food is presented. If I could give 10 stars to Catriona Cellars they’ve earned it!!!

This cellar opened less than a year ago and is a really nice place to go to for a glass of wine or food. They have a great patio area that I plan to go to during the summer, a gift shop, and fantastic fresh food selection. All the wines they had were very delicious and the staff are super nice and friendly. They change the menu seasonally along with having a seasonal wine. It’s a great place to have brunch with a friend or a date. Children are not allowed if you’re curious.

Great little café. In the interest of full disclosure my wife and I don’t drink so I can’t comment on the wines. We stumbled on this little gem on a stormy night looking for somewhere new to eat. I think you’d have to be an overly pretentious snob to not love the food and the cute Mountainy/Mediterranean style of the cellar. The service was fantastic, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food was simply delicious. We really enjoyed everything about our visit here. Definitely a must stop for anyone passing through Monument and especially for the locals. A great date night locale. I can’t wait to come again. We had just returned from visiting Carmel California and my wife stated the food was as good as the overpriced restaurants and cafes we’d been eating at there for the previous week. I think she was right. Try it and I think you’ll really enjoy yourselves.
