Love this Sushi restaurant. The food is great and the service is also great. The all you can eat is a great deal 15 dollars for lunch.

I have been eating sushi for 20 years all over the country. This is by far the most overpriced worst sushi my wife and I have ever experienced. The rolls are half the size of most other sushi bars and yet priced higher. The amount of fish used was literally microscopic, smaller than my pinky nail. The pieces were sliced paper thin, not even a full bite per piece. Two tiny rolls, which consisted of mostly rice and seaweed and almost zero fish, were over $ 20 at lunch. Grocery store sushi in Monument is much higher quality! Do yourself a favor and don’t go to Ifish in Monument! Just go to grocery store deli in the same parking lot and eat in your car and you will have a much better experience!

We were unimpressed with the quality of the food and the variety on the menu. This place has almost 4 stars as a rating on this app but Sushi Rakkyo in Colorado Springs only has 1 or 2 stars and the quality and taste of the food is far more superior. We were looking to try a new sushi place and have some more interesting rolls and were very very disappointed. We were charged $ 36 dollars for extra sushi based on the All you Can Eat lunch. Safe to say that we will not be returning to iFish and we recommend that you do the same.

This place is incredible! Amazing and friendly service everytime we go in. Our favorite thing is their lunch box! So much food for $ 10. You get a salad or appetizer, soup, and entrée, 2 pieces of sashimi, a california roll, and 2 small dessert bites! It really is an amazing deal and the food is fantastic. I love this place and the staff are great. I hope everybody keeps supporting them!

Fantastic all you can eat menu! Try the sushi nachos… wow! I’m like the other reviewers and experienced prior owners, for what ever reasons they were good but didn’t make it work. I-fish has a great menu and service is exceptional. we’ve made this restaurant our primary go to place.

I am not a big sushi or sashimi fan. I have eaten both on several occasions and I personally just don’t get it or see what all the fuss is about. A bunch of rice with seaweed wrapped around it and some vegetables or fish inside. Paying top dollar for something with so little taste just ain’t my style, Anywho, my sons and a friend of theirs wanted to come here for the $ 14.95 all-you-can-eat lunch deal, so I was cajoled into joining in. Two of them had the all-you-can-eat deal and what they received looked quite appealing and filling for the price. My youngest son, who is not a sushi/sashimi fan like myself, and I decided to go with something more flavorful, so we both went with the Beef Yakisoba($ 8.95). It was tasty enough, but not overly abundant. There was a medium size pile of the flavorful, fried noodles and a shredded carrot garnish, but it seemed as though my son got most of the beef when they split it into two dishes. As Wendy would say, «where’s the beef?» I will not let my opinion of sushi and the like sway me, so I base my rating on the quality of the food, the flavor of what I ate, the service, the atmosphere, and most of all the value. The food was good, the service excellent, the atmosphere nice, and the value average. CombatCritic Gives I-Fish 6 Bombs Out Of 10 … More Bombs Are Better

Typically when you order an entrée at a Japanese restaurant, it comes with a soup. Apparently that’s not the case here. The spicy-tuna roll wasn’t spicy at all and their wasabi isn’t the«fresh» variety, but rather the horseradish-flavored-mustard type. I’ll be passing on this place from here on out.

Not good at all. No wonder why they have all you can eat sushi for $ 14.95. The fish was warm. Sushi rolls consisted mostly of bland rice. They didn’t use any seasoning and in my opinion the rice was way too much. I was even starving(didn’t have a chance to eat all day– it is now 2pm and it wasn’t appetizing at all) the server was nice and discounted my bill after he asked me how everything was and I honestly answered. That was the only good thing about my experience. I hope I don’t get sick later…

Went there for lunch today, and would agree with many of the other reviewers. It’s hard to get good sushi in Colorado, much less Monument, but this place did a great job. I thought the service was great, and the food was great. I would definitely return.

Wow. Pleasantly surprised. We ate here a year or so ago and it was okay. Tried it again and boy what a difference a year makes. Great service and the food was yummy.

We enjoyed every bit of the all you can eat sushi. We usually go to a sushi place in the springs, but we thought we would try I-fish. It exceeded our expectations. The sushi, mussels, wine, and rolls were all delicious. The waiter was articulate and friendly, and we thoroughly enjoyed his professionalism. We will be back.

Just finished up my fourth visit to I-Fish and it was excellent as always! I’ve been to many fresh fish Japanese restaurants, and this one has to stand out as one of my favorites. The nigiri is always sliced fresh and delicious by owner Wen, and he always is helpful to create a tasty, spicy dipping sauce for some of his fried masterpieces. My favorites are his calamari and stuffed jalapeños. Exquisite and so yummy. The fish slices are very generous and the rice is not overwhelming. The service manager, Terry, is an amazing waiter. Always professional, knowledgable, and very friendly. I’ve never seen my beverage glass get less than half-full. A truly delightful and satisfying dining experience.

Arrived fresh from the gym for a pickup order. They were still working on it so they offered me some Miso soup and a drink while I waited. Both were great. The place is well decorated and I’ll likely sit at the sushi bar next time I’m in for the«dinner and a show» aspect of it. I checked out the menu and it looks like they have some really good deals for lunch and dinner. The bar looked well stocked with a decent wine list and all the requisite liquors. I got home and the sushi had been carefully packaged for travel so it wasn’t all mushed when I got home. A huge plus when so few care about the details these days. We had the asparagus tempura roll, vegetable roll, tiger mask and spivey yellowtail with jalapeño. All were delicious. Being able to deliver top grade sushi in Colorado much less small town Monument CO is quite a feet. These guys pull it off and do it at fair prices. I’ll be back for sure… and soon

I Fish is the new name of this local sushi place. They kept the all you can eat. The roll selection for the alk you can eat is not as large nor as intricate. However, the fish is BETTER. It tastes a lot more fresh. I would rate the creativity of the rolls and the nigiri, I’d rate a 3 or 4 star. I.e. there should be some masago on the more plain rolls, a slice of lemon on the salmon, etc… However, the freshness and, awesome customer service makes up for it all. Of note, the one fancy roll I had was fantastic!

This little joint by our neighborhood Safeway has changed 3 – 4 management during the past 2.5 years we’ve lived in the Monument area, so it’s a little hard to give a «comprehensive» review, considering that by the time someone else reads this, the owner may change again. We hope not, though. We love the current owner(this is written in June 2015). The owner and his staff are very pleasant and very professional, considering that the service we received in this restaurant under previous management have been hits and misses. They took away the Chinese menu to focus on just the Japanese food. While I’m a little sad for not being able to get a plate of fried rice when I feel like it, the quality for the Chinese menu hasn’t been consistent anyway, so it’s not that big a loss and probably a good move to focus on what the chef is good at. As for their new menu… I’ve had AYCE meal all over North America, and this little joint definitely measures up to some of the highly rated big city spots. The food quality is pretty good(for Colorado, since the seafood just isn’t the same when you live so far in land), the portions are very generous, even the food presentation shows great attention to detail. We haven’t try the a-la-carte menu, since we felt a little sticker shocked after getting used to the(permanently) 50% off sushi that the previous owner offered. But overall I’d still give this place a «I’m a fan» rating because of the good experience we had there and that we have high hopes for the new owner!(Please do stick around if you see this). On a side note, with all the management changes, one thing that has stayed the same is the décor. It’s a little funky/eclectic/weird, but we go there for the food.

The location of this Sushi — Asian bistro has changed names now 3 times over the past 4 years. The previous owner had a fantastic pad-Thai noodle dish and one with a jungle green curry one. I missed both of them. Just two days ago, I noticed the name changed and now it’s called«I-Fish,» so I decided to give them a try. And I’m so glad I did. The food was simply a-mazing! I ordered several appetizers and two entrees and everything was tasty. Lots of smiles from the family on the dinner. Highly recommended place to visit if you love Sushi and tasty Asian cuisine.

Best selection of rolls I’ve ever had. I went during their grand opening where all sushi was half off, so I was more adventurous than normal. I sat at the bar and received a bowl of tuna, salmon, and crab as an appetizer for free. Definitely the best appetizer a sushi chef has handed me. I ordered five rolls and the two best were the Soho roll and the Godzilla roll. I’ve been looking for a good crunch roll, and their Godzilla roll was it. This restaurant is much better than the previous owners, though I wish they’d sync up their lights. Overall, this is my current favorite sushi restaurant in all of the Colorado Springs area.
