Despite addressing the issue with the Home Depot manager at the suggestion of the local chief of police, this Home Depot continues to let the homeless in RVs stay in their parking lot. While the primary manager agrees the various night managers seem to know nothing. These RVs serve as the base camp for pan handling activities in the neighborhood and have been in their parking lot for well over a week. The local WalMart and Staples have stepped up to enforce the issue. Local police are can not enforce on private property without the request of the business(i.e. Home Depot). Perhaps it’s time to get neighbors signatures and address the issue with Home Depot Corporate headquarters and city council.

We’ve been to this store many times now. We’ve had some five star experiences, and some two star experiences. It really depends upon the department and sometimes who is working. We’ve worked with several people in the appliance department and always had a five star experience there. The carpet and outdoor sections were much more mixed and even not so good at times. Otherwise a pretty typical Home Depot.

I am a roofing and painting contractor and have found this location to provide a realistic service for a big box store. Sometimes, it may take a short period of time before someone provides assistance. Overall, this store does a great job in servicing contractors.

Been going here as contractor for years, the employees have always been great, most all of them very knowledgeable. Usually always have what I need. Great store and very clean

This location has a real staffing issue — sometimes in early morning we have 5 cashiers then in afternoon hardly can find 2. A C store so does not carry all items.

All Home Depot’s are understood by all customers. No difference in this one. I am writing this review for Darrell, the associate who stuck by us while trying to buy a bbq at 7:30p on a Saturday. After finding forklift personnel, shutting down aisles to pull it down, and digging thru propane bottles for any that are full… we got loaded up to leave. Not many associates available in the evening, and he stepped in! Thank you.

For the second time, I have gone to the hardware store and found the Sunday AM early shift milling around drinking coffee @ 0715, registers not open, doors not open garden center locked and chained with 3 – 4 customers standing around waiting to be served, lots of laughing and ignoring customers. This is becoming a pattern. They are supposed to be open @ 0700. Who is managing the Sunday morning manager?

This is my back up home depot, I usually drop in when I am between the springs and denver. There is a weird vibe in this store. There seems to be plenty of people around, but no one really interested in helping, unlike some of the other HD stores, seems especially the case in the garden department. Its a standard issue store that is conveniently placed across from a walmart in a shopping center near the highway. I find myself going to the lowes more often than not, but there are things that each store does not carry, so I use both.

Store is new, selection is fine although smaller than some locations. I shop here all the time, the only serious problem is understaffed customer service desks. There are some workers roaming the isles, but not enough at the service desks. It’s not any better at the home depot at North Academy or Powers/Woodmen so if you live in this area just bring a book to read while you wait. Lowes is about the same too. Returning an item takes at least 20 minutes, even when you just have to return a single screw at off-peak hours. Picking up an online order takes even longer, you often have to wait until all RETURNS are done so that somebody can help you. It look me about 40 minutes, 35 of those minutes were just standing there waiting for my turn. It is MUCH faster to just go and buy the items yourself using self-checkout. One positive: buying items using self checkout is very quick, unless you need cashier override. Then you may have to wait a few minutes.

Things seem to be on the decline at the Depot — we went to purch some cabinets the other day learning they would be 20% off by the GIGANTIC sign posted at the entrance and no one seemed to know about it! OFCOURSE, they didn’t ring up right originally so back in we go then the cashier is dumbfounded and has to call a mgr who goes back and forth trying to figure out if they are indeed on sale — he should of LOOKEDATTHEHUGESIGNATTHEENTRANCE. It was all so asinine. Then, in just getting help in the cabinets area, we go to the area of «custom cabinets» where an employee is arriving but OFCOURSE doesn’t work in the cabinets area, and has an irritated tone when we ask TOGETHELP in the instock area… Depot needs to revamp its service and employee attitudes for sure!

It seems difficult to find anyone to help you at this Home Depot, and when you finally find someone they want to pawn you of to someone who«knows better». When I was there the other day I saw a set of wrenches on sale. The original price was $ 25, the metric were marked down to $ 19, and the SAE were marked all the way down to $ 9. Seeing that I needed the metric I asked the cashier if they could match the lower price. He asked a manager that was passing by and she seemed put off. She said she«couldn’t» match the price. The cashier then suggested I pick them up at Lowe’s. Maybe I should shop there all the time…
