Great place! Just moved here and r household items haven’t arrived yet. Great coffee and the kids get to get off some energy. Very friendly staff. I will be coming back a lot. My new favorite place

Leeds, AL
A much needed place to sit and talk and enjoy a cup of coffee. The Leeds/​Moody area has very little in the way of places like this where you can go with a friend and just sit and have a chat. You can’t go to a restaurant unless you’re going to eat. This is a nice, cozy place to relax for a few minutes or to get some work done.

I’ve been looking for a place to get coffee from since I moved back to Alabama. I’m a coffee snob, and I was disappointed when I went into this establishment.
No one seemed interested in helping me. I stood around in the main lobby like a jackass for about 10min waiting for someone to be interested in selling something.
The guy behind the counter wouldn’t give me satisfactory answers to my questions regarding the freshness/​roasting of the beans. I bought 12oz. and paid $ 17. I know I got my education from Moody HS, but I’m pretty sure that’s almost $ 23/​lb.
When I got home and brewed a cup, the flavor was ok, but not the best. There’s not a great selection. I tried to be fair. Because the coffee wasn’t terrible I gave it two stars, however the experience and aloofness of the staff isn’t worth me going back.

I live in moody and we’ve been in need of coffee that didn’t come from fast food or a gas station for quite some time. Not only does Common Grounds provide that, but the coffee is wonderful. Good coffee combined with a good Christian environment. What’s not to love?

The espresso here and the brew is amazing. I am extremely picky about my coffee. I’m not into the mass produced coffees like many huge named places have. They have a really high quality bean and it shows. It has a nice vibe and some cool people working the counters. If you are passing by Moody and need coffee. It is worth the stop!!!
