We were delighted to find a a Dairy Queen in the area. We’re are of the demographic that grew up with a local Dairy Queen. Truly it was a trip down memory lane. The staff is young and inexperienced but very polite. We will be returning occasionally for a blizzard and a dip cone. The burger was just like I remembered it. Great place to stop after a matinée.

Food selection is better than some out of state DQs I have visited. My order tasted ok. Drink selection was anemic. I’d assume a place this new would have one of those 20-in-1 touchscreen dispensers. They have iced tea but only the sweetened tasted good. Since I like tea slightly sweetened I mixed sweetened and unsweetened and wasn’t thrilled. Since nothing was on the fountain I liked I just tossed the drink. Dessert is what you’d expect — quite good. Ambiance was strange. Several televisions with sports but some weird live concert playing on the overhead speakers. The place is a ‘grill and chill’ but the music was more grill than chill. Nothing I recognized but it wasn’t particularly good. I think it was Sirius XM but they might be better suited with more mainstream ‘safe’ channels(70s on 7 or the like) or just pipe the sports audio instead. The interior décor was decent though. I’d likely go back for dessert but drive-thru only and not for anything involving beverages.
