I’ve eaten at Dong A for years. It’s the Okla. Korean standby. Many of the dishes are fantastic. You can’t go wrong with the beef bulgogi(stir-fry type beef sirloin) or galbi(beef short ribs). All of the entrees, for the most part, are served with white rice. Dong A is traditional Korean food. That means the entrée is paired with about 8 side dishes called banchan. Kimchi(fermented spicy cabbage) is always a part of the meal. Other side dishes that I have had include potatoes that are slightly sweet, seaweed salad, jap chae(a cold noodle dish), some black beans, spicy cucumbers, and fermented bean sprouts. They change up the side dishes from time to time. I would definitely suggest ordering the fried dumplings for an appetizer. They are fantastic. I have also tried the Korean pancake(savory), but found it to be a bit bland for my tastes. Kimbap is kind of the Korean version of sushi, and it makes a pretty good appetizer as well. If you’ve never had Korean food, I highly recommend that you bring someone with you that can explain everything for you. The servers and cooks are all Korean, and, while they speak English, they aren’t the best at explaining the menu.

Best Korean food in OKC. This place is a little hole in the wall but don’t be fooled– the service is wonderful and the food is outstanding. Go for the bulgogi. They bring you lots of different little cold dishes with it. They also do orders to go.

Dong-A is a nice neighborhood Korean joint. It’s not the best I’ve had anywhere, but it’s respectable and very convenient for me. The kimchi is delicious and they’re pretty generous with it. I prefer the chicken bulgogi, but I haven’t necessarily explored a lot of the menu. This is a famiy-run establishment and I have always found the servers to be friendly and pleasant.

I went on a weekend for lunch. Food was okay, but pricey. I’m sure their weekday lunch menu is a good deal. The yakimandu was NOT homemade. It was also overcooked. Otherwise their food is on par with the other Korean restaurants I’ve visited in the area.

I love this restaurant! The staff is friendly and the menu has a lot of options that the other Korean restaurants don’t have. I adore their topokki! We recently went her to celebrate my birthday and had the cook at the table Korean BBQ. We had a wonderful time and we will keep coming back in the future!

It’s my first time trying Korean food in the states. I’m not sure about the other places, but I like the food in Korea much more than here.

This is the only Korean restaurant I’ll eat in Oklahoma period since this is the only place that suits my taste buds.(Hehe!!) So the delicious food one must try here is 1. The naemgmyun aka cold noodle in some ice cold broth. The owner makes the broth herself and only she knows the recipe. I have been to Korea before and this recipe tops all of the cold noodle places I have been in. This is exceptionally good if you do the Korean bbq and eat it together with the pork belly. My husband introduced me to this and it is seriously heaven. Can also do the cold noodle plus the galbi combination!!! 2. The stews. The owner uses some sort of premade clear broth stock in all her soup and so that’s why the stews here taste more intense then the ones you make at home. My husband loves the intestine soup while I love the bean paste soup! 3. The pork cutlet is also delicious. The sauce is all made by the owner as well. The pork cutlet is on the crunchier side which is what I prefer. 4. The seafood spicy noodles are one of my husbands favorite. He said very authentic especially since both he and the owner are from the same district in Korea!

Located in one of the few Asian plaza. Visit D nail in the same plaza and eating over there from time to time with my girl friend for many years before moving down to Texas. Many sweet and memorable memories. Very good selection of Korean dishes. Love and miss this place. Lunch box special is good for the price. Love their hot tea.

Probably the best Korean food I’ve had in Oklahoma. The restaurant setting is authentic and the food is very flavorful! If you’re into spicy food, try the tteokbokki(spicy rice cakes). They’re rice cakes stir fried in a spicy red pepper sauce! I have very low spice tolerance but I like it a bunch. The bulgogi and galbi are awesome too!

I would give this place 3.5 stars and definitely a return visit. I came here for lunch and ordered the beef lunch special. You can choose from chicken, beef, jap chae noodles, or pork for $ 7.99. It comes with a few different single servings of banchan on your cute little lunch tray, which for banchan fatties like me, I wish it was more!(I didn’t try asking for extra though.) One thing they do exceptionally well is the potato salad. Lightly sweet and perfectly creamy, I could eat this with anything. I mean, you could smear it on a brick, and I would still eat it! Ok, maybe not, but what I’m trying to say… it’s soooo good! I also ordered the kimbap for $ 6.99, which is the Korean version of a sushi roll and has seaweed with rice, cucumber, pickled daikon, egg, and some other shenanigans in there. It wasn’t as good as OK Ko Mart’s(only served Friday) and cost more. Since it was only okay, I won’t order that again. Other places like B-Won and Seoul Garden do give you more food, but this place tasted great also and was satisfying. I would definitely come back to rack and stack their jap chae with the rest of Midwest City’s Korean restaurants!

The best Korean in OKC! They have a very large variety. Both their food is good and their customer service is on point. I’ve eaten here over a dozen times and I enjoyed every visit. Even the time they had really slow service because they were busy with two simultaneous birthday parties. The manager personally apologized to me and even gave me 50% off. I can’t remember all of the dishes I’ve tried, but I can recommend the bulgogi, jigae, pajeon, chapchae, ddeokbokki, bibimbap, kimbap, mandu, and jajangmyun. Not many korean places do tofu soup along with bbq, rice dishes and noodle dishes like blackbean noodles! The banchan is forever changing, and it’s actually a kind of game for me to guess the banchan before they come out. I never had the same combination of dishes for any visit. I feel like their kimchi is homemade also, or just a brand I haven’t eaten before, but it’s good! My favorite of course is fish cake and plain jeon. There’s really no downsides to this place other than that their understaffed. Oh, and don’t expect any sauces for your kimbap or mandu. The most you’ll get is soy sauce, but I just like eating them sauceless anyway. I never checked if they have wine or soju, but I’ll definitely be coming here again and again to get my Korean fix. Alcohol or not.

WOW! One of the best Unilocal finds of my life. Easily TOP Korean food in OK and a TOP10 restaurant in OKC. We ventured down to nowhere land in Moore for the first time and THISPLACEROCKS! The seafood tofu soup is the best tofu soup I have ever had in my life and I have been to a whole lot in CA. THISIS A MUSTGET. The side dishes were pretty solid. We also ordered the bulgogi(it was ok but won’t get next time) and the bimbimbop was pretty good too! But again, the tofu soup is king. We’re excited to try the other dishes too. Summary: BEST Korean food in OK by far in the middle of nowhere. Get the seafood tofu soup.

This has been the best Korean food I’ve eaten since I left Korea in 2008. I ordered the Topokki which I only found with the street vendors in Korea. It was delicious! I also ordered the spicy chicken bulgogi which was cooked just right and wasn’t to spicy for me. Overall the service and food was excellent.

Awesome Korean cuisine that Moore, OK has to offer. Had the beef bulgolgi with steamed rice, sides, & tried something new called toppoki and it was very good.

Ate here a few days ago because it was really cold and there’s nothing like some good Korean soup to warm you up. The location is okay I guess. Everything is clean inside, but the décor and ambiance leaves something to be desired. It did resemble a typical restaurant found in the greater Seoul area. It was a bit odd that I was the only patron in the restaurant for at least a half hour. By the time I left there were two other couples there, and a few to go orders were processed. A bit odd and unfortunate, but I think it has to do with the random location. The food itself was pretty good. I am a bit critical I suppose, as I had the pleasure of having Korean food in Korea. I ordered the kimchee pork stew. It came with a side of rice and plenty of sides. I really enjoyed the kimchee. So much flavor. The soup was good. A little more salt would have been nice, but no worries As a few dashes of the shaker and it was all well. I had hoped for larger chunks of pork, but it’s not a big deal. I just wish the soup was a bit more pungent and a hint more spicy. Good authentic food here. I will definitely be back

Dong A is rather nom. Affordable, too! We ordered over the phone for take-out and when we got there it was very quiet and only a small table was there eating in a little adjacent room. On the TV they were playing what seemed to be a Korean sketch comedy show. I have no idea what was happening, but it made me smile. I’ve noticed that the Japanese and Korean comedies I’ve watched are a lot more lively than American. Like they’re actually having fun. That’s besides the point. ANYWAY. The people there were very friendly and offered us water as we waited for our food since we arrived a bit early. Kim-bab(Korean sushi) 4⁄5 –Of course this isn’t the sushi I’m used to. It was very different but sooo delicious. I think the met was Krab or some sort of fishcake. It was also filled with carrot, spinach, pickled radish(oh gosh yum), egg, and I think cucumber. It was a lot in one roll(seaweed wrapped with rice, of course), but it was incredibly sturdy and didn’t fall apart. Yaki-mandu(fried dumplings) 3⁄5 –These were just okay. A bit flavorless, but the meat and onions did have a good, subtle taste. They were a little on the small side, but the crunchy chewy texture was pleasing. Chicken bulgogie 5⁄5 –This is what my boyfriend had. It came with a handful of little additions to put in like bean sprouts. He said it was the right amount of spicy and held lots of flavor.
