After getting a break job on my car, I was close to Perkins, so as I was starving, I stopped in for dinner. I wasn’t expecting much but I figured it would quell the hunger, What a surprise. I ordered the new Ragin’ Cajun, consisting of shrimp, chicken and sausage, with peppers and onions over rice. It was excellent. For desert I had the french silk pie, which was also excellent. I will be back to Perkins for dinner.

Found out today that Perkins charges for the pot of coffee on your table. The last two times I was there for breakfast I wasn’t charged for the coffee, so I thought it came with the breakfast. Had their ‘Classic” breakfast this morning again. $ 10.36.

This is my favorite Diner type place to go!!! My family and I have been going here for years & there is no place like it! Good Food & Great Prices! Can’t go wrong! If you are looking for a very clean environment, with GREAT food, friendly help, and cheap, this is the place! If I could give it more than 5 stars I would!!! If you don’t feel like eating in and stuffing yourself, feel free to call in a take-out order, so you can stuff yourself at home!!! Yum! They don’t just do Breakfast as some might think, they have everything and more! Infact they make the BEST Cheeseburgers(they might be messy, but so… tasty!!) They also feature«The BEST» Honey Mustard I have ever had in my life! I lost count on how many servers I have asked about their Honey Mustard. It’s not a regular store brand, so when asked I got different answer every time. I can’t express how many different kinds of Honey Mustards/dressing I have tried in several stores to try and track it down(or even something similar!) About 2 months ago I sent my Father to pick up a Take-out order, and asked him to give it another try & ask them again, cuz I LOVE it!!! He came back with a 1 gallon jar & a note from the girl at the register!!! Best gift ever! They went above and beyond to make a customer’s day, truly! The girl at the register, not only told us the brand, but sold him a gallon of one of their own jars from the back! Special thanks to her & everyone there! They truly train their workers well! That was so. very nice of them to sell us some! Can’t wait to go again and thank them in person! Highly recommend to everyone!

We stopped in for brunch on a Sunday. It was packed, but the turnover was very quick; we only waited about ten minutes. Coffee was fresh, omelette was tasty(I liked that there were healthy options, too,) and the service was friendly and quick. Prices were very reasonable. We will be back.

Had a good breakfast here. Our waitress Monica did a great job. We got coffee right a way our food was hot and fast she even stopped back twice to see if we needed anything. Worth stopping by.

Perkins is a grand slam choice for breakfast/brunch. Their eggs, sausage, hash browns, toast, bacon are sure to please. If you are expecting fresh squeezed orange juice try someplace else, because this is clearly tang from a machine. The service was pretty decent, but the food and price was definitely the star of the party. To top off the experience, they have a freshly made bakery with warm pies ready to be packaged up and taken home. The pies are absolute dynamite, especially the cocoanut cream and apple crumb. The price was ridiculously inexpensive as feeding three grown men was only 20 dollars! Now, you can’t beat that!

I came here for Saturday breakfast at noon, after 4 other places in the area had excessive wait times.(It seems like the entire state goes out for brunch on Saturday.) Call ahead and ask about wait times anywhere you want to go. I got seated immediately. By the time the waitress arrived to take my drink order, I had already decided what to eat, so I asked if I could order. She said yes, and then she walked away. When she returned she said they were out of coffee and were making more. Then she took my order. The coffee and food arrived quicker than I expected give how many customers were there. The eggs were not cooked enough for my liking, scrambled dry. The has browns were more white than brown, but they were not still raw. The bacon was nice and chewy, even if the 4 piece they serve were about the size of two pieces at other places. Toast was missing from my order, and I asked about it, and the waitress brought it shortly. It was toasted about a medium color, which is more than many places will do, but I like my toast dark. Also, it was soggy not crispy. I got billed for the toast, but when I read the menu I thought it was included in the combo, and she didn’t make that clear when I asked about the missing toast when she originally brought my food.(More on this later.) The pancakes are about 5″ diameter which is a nice size: not to big and not too small. The syrup is not very mapley, and I think the«butter» for the toast and pancakes was fake. When the check came, I got charged for the toast, which was unexpected. When I asked about that at the check out, the clerk didn’t address my concern but ran my credit card for the whole amount. When I got the receipt to sign for the whole amount, which I thought was going to be reduced, I asked again about having the charge for toast being removed. She had to call the manager for that. He came over and was rather rude explaining that pancakes or toast or biscuit… was the option, and proceeded to give me two dollars cash from the drawer when I offered my credit card to have it rerun. With tax, the toast would have been $ 2.13, not $ 2.00. I signed the check and didn’t leave a tip. If the manager had been more polite with his explanation, I would have paid for it and left a tip, but instead I left annoyed. I won’t be back. Now I know why the other restaurants have 30 – 45 minute waits and this location doesn’t.

Service and food was mediocre. I wasn’t totally disappointed but probably will not return. The restaurant is clean and nice though. May be just my perspective on food quality. The waitress wasn’t horrible but not very friendly either. May have just been that experience that day.

Mother’s Day 2015(after years of dining at the expensive and disappointing restaurants) we went to Perkins Family Restaurant on Route 38 in Moorestown, NJ. This is my favorite Perkins. Their food taste better than the food at the other Perkins restaurants and the pies for sale in the case actually look better than the photos on their corporate made menu. They had a typical Mother’s Day large crowd, but we(party of two) were still seated in about 20 minutes. Although they have an extensive menu, I still asked for extra things not on the menu and our waitress was delightful and very accommodating. There were so many fresh blueberries in my pancakes, I had to take a photo after eating half of them, just to show how many blueberries they filled inside. One of the best things of all… The bill for less than $ 25! Now who doesn’t like that?

This was a pleasant surprise. I never ate at a Perkins, I’m not sure why, but, I will again. I met with a friend for an early Sunday Morning breakfast, it was pretty empty when we got there like I said it was early. We were seated right away and asked out preference of booth or table. We climbed into a booth while I familiarized myself with the menu. I ordered a hot tea while my friend ordered a iced one. Our waitress was pretty attentive, I ended up ordering the Spinach and mushroom scramble which came with fruit and chicken apple sausage links. the scramble was extremely fresh, I really enjoyed it… The sausage I didn’t really like, I would substitute that next time. but wait rewind, let me just tell you how super speedy fast our breakfast came out, it was insanely fast! We ate talked and I could tell business was starting to pick up, our server came by a few times to check on us, see if we needed refills our anything… At the end of the meal and about ½ way through the iced tea, my friend noticed something floating… we took it out and identified it as maybe a piece of burnt bacon. The establishment itself was clean though so it could have been an error, unfortunate though because it cost a star on the review. For the price and the taste of the food and friendly service, I will return.

Ended up here on a Sunday evening after a long trip back from seeing family, only to see a sign that says closed at 7 pm… I didn’t want to believe it so I went in to ask and sure enough they said they close early on the holidays… But it’s December 28th! So down the road we go for the next adventure…

I went with my brother to Perkins because our friend works there, and it wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t really fantastic. I got the tomato basil soup and a Caesar salad, and it wasn’t bad, but the soup tasted like pasta sauce(granted, it was pretty good, but not what you look for in a soup). Everything, including the waitresses and the atmosphere, was just okay. It’s a lot like Friendly’s and a diner combined. Serves diner type food but with a Friendly’s feel.

If you want a very well run restauraunt that isn’t super commercial than Perkins is it. Love the owners and staff. They are always friendly and kind. It’s a place where the owners are doing just as much work as their staff but still manage to run the business seamlessly. The food is good too! Lots of variety and good specials. I used to be obsessed with IHOP and thought u would never have a good sampler meal anyplace else. But boy was I wrong. Their Hearty Mans Combo is delicious. Bacon, eggs, sausage links, Italian sausage, breakfast potatoes and choice of fruit, muffin or pancakes… wow. It was all worth it. It’s good food. Good family Resturant. Great business.

Went there for July 4 breakfast after our doctor’s appointment. Yes, I said doctor’s appointment. My partner had eye surgery yesterday and the doctor was seeing his Thursday patients this morning for their post-op exam. So we went to Perkins and at 9:30 am, waited for about 15 minutes for a booth. Food is wonderful for breakfast(never ate their lunch/dinner entrees). I ordered pancakes(carb loading is a treat, it’s so rare I do so anymore), my partner ordered an egg white/bacon/cheese omelet. Both came out perfect, the bacon well done, the pancakes with lots of flavor. By the time we left at 10:30, the wait was ½ hour.

Good food, large servings, good prices and friendly service. Have always been a fan of the Perkins’ style omelet-thin and delicious. A favorite breakfast spot. Can’t comment on lunch or dinner.

I want to give them a good review. I really do. This place got me through college. In Pennsylvania, Perkins is open 24 hours and have great chain diner food. The food at this location is fine, but my issue is with the hours. What kind of restaurant closes at 8 pm on a Friday night?! Do you guys even know how good caramel apple pie and coffee is after midnight? No, you can’t possibly because this place closes before my grandmother goes to bed! How is corporate ok with this? How do the servers make any money? Why can’t I get an order of fries after a 7pm movie? This place is good… If you can actually rush there right after work. Would it kill you to be open until 10? maybe 9? Hungry for pie…

Perkins has decent breakfast food at a decent price. I wouldn’t mess around with dinner at a place like this, although it’s probably acceptable. There’s no point in spending $ 11 for a mediocre pasta dish when you could get a really good noodle or pasta dish somewhere else for the same price. But if you want to spend $ 8 on breakfast and get a whole bunch of food, order one of the omelet platters, which come with pancakes instead of toast if you want. I’m not a pancake guy but when you can get them instead of toast it seems like a no-brainer. If I haven’t been to Perkins in a few years, I start wanting to go there. It’s not a destination, but it’s there when you need it.

This Perkins is in a shopping center on the north side of Route 38, although they have their own parking area. I can’t speak for their lunch and dinner selections because I usually have breakfast at Perkins, even at dinnertime! That said, I thought the southern fried chicken biscuit platter was pretty good and the portion size was big enough for dinner. Service was pretty good on my visit but then again, the restaurant was not crowded at the time so your mileage may vary.

This is one of my favorite chain breakfast spot to go to. I love their muffins and the large menu they have. They give you large portions of food(def more than most can probably handle) for a good price. Whenever I head to Jersey and in the mood for breakfast, I always like to go here. I tend to either order an omlette or the eggs benedict… both delicious and filling. Husband orders steak and eggs(hit or miss on this one… can’t really expect to go to this spot expecting an amazing piece of steak cooked perfectly each time). Each meal always comes with choices of muffins or toast. Go for the muffin and have it toasted. Mmmm, so warm and delicious(as you can tell, the muffin is one of my favorite parts… lol) As for lunch/dinner, I have never had it, so I can’t comment. Place is always packed so expect some sort of wait. The wait is never really long though bc they do have fast turnover. Service is hit or miss. Sometimes you get this amazing server whom is on top of everything, then others you wonder what happened to them.

Oh, whatever. I am giving Perkins five stars. Out of all the chains in the northeast, this one is probably my favorite(in line with Red Robin, of course.) No matter what location you visit, the food generally is always good and plentiful. I tend to pick the honey crunch chicken salad whenever I go, and often times have enough leftovers for another full meal. The prices are fair and the servers(while hit or miss) are mostly nice. And, maybe most importantly, their coffee is awesome, which makes me a very, very happy girl.

Typically Perkins Restaurant. Call for hours because the one night they were closed by 8−9pm. Wait staff is a hit or miss — sometimes your waiter is great and others they could care less if you showed up. Food is consistently good and what you would expect from a Perkins Restaurant. I have been to other Perkins that rate slightly higher in décor, care of the customers, better wait staff overall, but nothing will keep me from returning here again anytime soon. Right along Rt 38 — across from PJs, also next to Marshalls, KMART, etc. It only receives 4 stars because of the hit or miss waiters that I get.
