Spavia Day Spa – Moorestown

Spavia is nothing short of a luxurious, posh spa at an affordable price. From the person that greets you with a warm and friendly smile to the masseuse, everyone is extremely professional.
Now if you are a «fluffy» girl like myself then maybe you have shied away from the spa experienced, I can’t begin to tell you how comfortable I was there from beginning to end. No need to worry about robes that fit, they have them for everyone, no need to worry about tiny tables they are the perfect size for everyone! Everything and everyone is geared towards making you feel like you are in a peaceful relaxed setting in your own private retreat.
So slip away into their perfectly heated bed made with the softest sheets of any five star hotel you will ever stay in and let the professionals take away the stress of the day, week, or longer with their talented hands. You will be thinking of your next appointment before your current one ends!

I discovered Spavia through Groupon. I had no idea the spa existed (it’s tucked away behind the Moorestown Mall) but they were offering an 80 minute massage and I had to grab it.
Making an appointment was easy — the woman who answered the phone was really nice, and I was able to book a Saturday afternoon appointment a little less than a week away. They also offer online booking, which is awesome, but I wasn’t sure if I could use that feature with a Groupon so I skipped it.
The spa itself is tiny but beautiful. The front desk staff were very welcoming and gave a thorough tour — the locker room area has changing rooms and a shower, and there are lockers with the individual combo locks that you set yourself. There is a cozy waiting area with tea and warm neck wraps while you wait for your service.
My massage itself was only OK. The masseuse had clearly read the information sheet I filled out when I arrived, because she confirmed all the preferences I selected: music choice, amount of conversation, and level of pressure. She also asked if there were any areas I wanted to concentrate on. Once she got started, however, it didn’t seem like she knew what she was doing. I got the impression that maybe she was new to providing massage therapy? She did a lot of walking around, and a *a lot* of rearranging my blankets. I get massages at least once a month, so I know that they need to rearrange the blankets to reach whichever body part they are working on, but my masseuse would walk around the table a couple times, rearrange the blankets a couple times, walk around some more, then pick a body part to work on. There was no clear order to the massage — she bounced around a lot — so it wasn’t as relaxing as it could have been.
Overall, the spa is really nice and the staff are very welcoming. I would be open to trying a massage again with a different therapist if I see Spavia on Groupon again, but I don’t think I’d gamble on it at full price.

Amazing facility!!! The staff was friendly and helpful. I loved everything from the personal lockers to the relaxing retreat with the warm neck towels! Give yourself about 15 min to take advantage of the retreat before your service. They MUST open more like this!

I went to this wonderful place today! Had a facial with Ana and it was terrific she removed the dead dry skin and did so many different things I looked so much better after her magic. I will be getting facials more often and now I don’t need to drive to Philly to get a high end facial with a lower price, The spa itself was very cool looking I liked the style and men’s lounge,

My service at Spavia was absolutely amazing. I cancelled my membership at Hand & Stone (Cherry Hill) and started a membership at this spa. The front desk staff didn’t push a membership on me, like they did at Hand and Stone where I had to tell the girl at the front NO 4x before I was given my receipt. It was super awkward. I was simply told the facts and the need to know and that was that. My facial was absolutely amazing. A true luxury service. And very affordable. And the girl at the front (Toniann) was so incredibly kind and helpful. She really took the time out to make me feel comfortable and relaxed. She gave me an entire tour and answered all my questions. Their spray tans are AWESOME. I loved how clean this spa was and I how clean their showers were. I normally would never shower at a facial spa but I did there. This place is amazing and the staff makes it that much better!

I have to applaud the owner for contacting me after I left my review. He was concerned that my experience didn’t reflect the quality of services that his business provides. So he offered for me to come back and I accepted. They clearly took note of my initial experience and made a concerted effort to address those the 2^nd time around.
This time around the experience was greatly improved. My therapist, Jenny, was wonderful. There was a clear difference in her technique compared to my previous therapist. It was a great experience and I may be back.

My first trip to Spavia was through the groupon, the price for an 80 minute massage couldn’t be beat, but after that first massage I knew I had to buy the membership.
This is the third massage membership I’ve had and definitely the best experience. The spa is unique in the fact that you can pick your lotion scent and music, they even have an option to hook up your own cell phone. You are given a robe, sandals, and a locker to change right away and head to the serenity room with water, tea, and heated neck wraps.
Angelika gives one of the best massages I’ve ever had (I’ve had a lot) and the hot oil scalp massage is definitely recommend as an add on.

Most Amazing best spa I’ve ever been to in my life. Staff is amazingly nice and very professional. Spa is very relaxing and extremely clean. They offer you a hot shower, changing room, and locker for your items they lock too so you can leave your jewelry in there. There is a relaxation room to lounge around in prior to you get your massage! You also get a nice to robe and slippers to chAnge into and they cater to all your needs from the type of music you want to hear to what type of massage and pressure you like even. They even ask you if you want conversation or no conversation lol Rebecca did my deep tissue she was great! I can’t wait to go back again Thank you spavia!
