I expected a traditional Chinese sit down restaurant but what I found was a very small dining area with about six tables with most of the tables occupied by people waiting for their take outs. Decided to eat in at first but after 20 minutes, told them to make it «to go».
Even though they have tables, it is obvious that the bulk of their business is take out and that is how they are set up.
In anycase, got my order of Seafood Combination home and while the Shrimp was excellent, it was almost impossible to find the Scallops and I will admit, that is the most unusal presentaiton of crab I have ever seen. The underlying stir fry veggies were all overcooked. The brocolli had not texture to it and for that matter, neither did anything else.
Price would be reasonable if the quality of the food was there but that is not the case.
Would not recomment.
We have ordered to-​go food from Golden China twice in the last month. After the first time we said we would not order again. Unfortunately, in a moment of weakness, we did.
Second time no better than the first. The lady who took the orders speaks very little English. Both times our orders were wrong. Very frustrating when you get home and it’s not what you ordered.
I would suggest passing up Golden China even if your Chinese craving so kicking in. The airport Chinese food is a notch above Golden China in Mooresville.
