So my family and I were exploring downtown Mooresville because we moved here from NJ a few months ago. I had driven past it before at a time when they were closed, but as soon as I saw it I wanted to go in. Today, we had the opportunity, AND IT WAS AMAZING. There’s so much candy that you don’t see too often anymore, a wall of every color M&M’s, different flavors of cotton candy, all kinds of cool sodas, assorted chocolates, chocolate covered Oreo’s. There’s something for everyone! We were all like kids in a candy store: p lol. Bottom line, this place is awesome and you should check it out. :D

Cute lil candy shop! There was a wall full of pez characters. They have different flavors of sodas. I came here for a bday celebration and it was fun for the kids and parents alike. The kids made candy sushi which were pretty tasty.

Fantastic candy store in downtown Mooresville. Sean and his staff are extremely friendly and always willing to help with the array of sweets stocked in the store, not to mention the local made honey and frig packed with a variety of flavored sodas. Not only is this a candy store, but a great place to have your child’s birthday party. There is always something fun going on at Sugar Pops! Check them out!

Housemade marshmallows in various flavors? YES PLEASE!!!
Yesterday I bought Butter Beer flavored marshmallows and basically it was a case of SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY! They were soft, silky, so perfectly flavored and heavenly!!!
They have all manner of fun candy I recall from my youth, things I have never seen before and are quite friendly.
On the downside… and maybe I ought to expect this… each time I am in there the ratio of sticky fingered (literally) children to attention paying adults seems off. I would no more allow my children to walk around eating, licking their fingers and touching unwrapped candy than I’d stroll naked down Main on any given day. I wish they had a child free day for those of us that want to make a purchase without needing a wet nap afterwards! It’s also a very narrow store, so getting around when there are dangerously sticky children nearby is a challenge.

A great place to bring the kids and the kids at heart! All your childhood favorites are representing and some new favorite candies and now they have chocolates and truffles! When I was a kid we had a candy store on the corner and nothing was better than going in and getting to pick out your treat. Thanks sugarpops! They have parties and also movie nights so call for available dates :)

A fun little candy shop and a fun little downtown. They’ve got candy ranging from many different decades, and all of them are delicious. The staff are friendly and always willing to help make decisions.

Stopped in for Jelly Bellys to make treat bags for co-​workers. The staff was very knowledgable and helped me to make the right flavor choices. Taste tests are encouraged. Cute shop and will be back!

All that I can say is that this place is AMAZING! I needed favors for a baby shower that I was hosting and found the perfect ones here. Sean told me that the most popular favors were the marshmallows with a personal graphic on them. I picked the s’mores favor box and sent him a jpg of the picture I wanted. Turn around time was super fast. Everyone loved the favors. They were the hit of the shower!

We love this place! The look of it is adorable, like something you’d see in a movie. And the man who owns it is always very welcoming and friendly. The candy is great, and prices are slightly higher, but I expected it. And still not that expensive, really. Definetly reccomend this place. It’s lovely!

SugarPop’s is the kind of candy store you always imagined going to as a child. They have a huge selection of current and old-​fashioned candies as well as some really unique soda flavors!
We loved working with Sean and his staff for my twin daughters’ 10^th birthday party! This was probably the easiest party I have ever thrown for them, and all of the guests had a great time. The two staff members who ran the party had their hands full with 16 excited 10-​year-​old girls whose enthusiasm increased thanks to a little sugar intake, but they kept the activities rolling along without feeling at all rushed. I would definitely recommend SugarPops as a fun, unique location for a birthday party.
If you are in downtown Mooresville and are looking for a sweet treat, be sure to stop in. You won’t regret it!

Visited last Friday. Sampled bacon soda and peanut butter soda. Open your mind and give it a try. Friendly staff and personable candy king /​owner.

Awesome selection of candy!!! From old school favorites to new delicious treats as well. I am from NY and I have not seen any family owned and operated small business like this one here in the city which is why I love it so much! the owners were on hand and extremely cordial and professional to all the customers. Definitely worth a second visit.

My wife and i were visiting friends when we stopped into this amazing little candy shop. We were delightfully reminded of our youth with all the candy selections from the days of our childhood, Pez wall topped it all. a definite must see, especially if your looking to treat your children.

Love this place for so many reasons. Love that its a true family business where all family members are involved. The selection of candy reaches all ages and the fun activities they have in place for the little ones are wonderful. When both my boys ages (10 and 6) heard of a fun candy store — they were elated ! :)

This place is quite simply amazing. Brings back such memories of years past. The staff are do friendly and have such dynamic personalities. Their PEZ wall is second to none. I highly recommend getting out there ASAP. You will be over the moon and back with excitement!
