Yellow Cab of Lake Norman

Stick with über or limos from now on, or at least something other than yellow cab of lkn. Don’t even bother booking a cab in advance. Booked one 5 days out for 6 people, and I called them back an hour before my scheduled time confirm everything was still ok. I was told it was fine, they’d be there at 5:20. At 5:30 I get a call telling me they were so sorry, but the van that was supposed to pick me up was still 20 minutes out… he made an airport run!!! I called (not them caking to confirm) at 4:40 to confirm, maybe it was my sixth sense telling me there was no way they were going to stick to what they told me. Not good when you have reservations to meet people downtown at 6pm! They told me they would send a cab right away, and that there was one that was one exit away. They said their cabs are independent contractors, and these things happen… funny how that’s not what they say when you call to book in advance. So. a regular can, I said how is that going to work with Squeezing 6 people into a crown vic with a driver, she said they do it all the time! After 20 minutes I called back, and it was as if I was inconveniencing her, calling back 35+minutes past my scheduled and confirmed pick up time. The cab she sent showed up at 6pm, 40 minutes later… there is no way was he one exit away when she called me. They ruined our night… so much for planning in advance. Horrible experience! Stick with über or limos from now on, or at least something other than yellow cab of lkn.

2+ hours for a cab. Reservation mysteriously lost/​cancelled. Wish I had my old phone with the other cab #s in it. F yellow.
