My mom used to go to this place back in the 1970s it used to be called La Casa, they had nude portraits of mexican women on the walls, and velvet booths. Apparently!!! I got it right this information from the horses mouth. Wish I had some pictures for proof! Maybe someone does. Anyway, I like the place now, because it sorta looks like 1989 décor, everything is sorta blue, like the booths, sort of a real drinking bar, but it all depends on when you go, obviously. There’s the day time lunch crowd, the bingo crowd, the youth gone wild nighttime crowd. I recommend it if you want to avoid the annoying Fargo Bar scene, were everyone is just going out to be seen.

Vic’s is a breath of cheap beer and stale popcorn in a sea of new«hip» places in the area. Don’t let the well-worn and unglamorous bar fool you: Vic’s is a hidden Moorhead gem, full of character, great drink specials and surprisingly delicious food. A crew of regulars have made Vic’s a serious bingo destination. Stop by during bingo without playing and you’ll struggle to find a place to sit. Be loud or rowdy during bingo and you will get stink-eye. Join bingo and you may just walk away a winner. Pro tip: The burger basket special Monday-Friday is delicious and ridiculously inexpensive.

Quiet out of the way little place. Trivia on Friday nights. Normally I wouldn’t come here unless with friends. Food is okay especially if you like burgers. Good specials as well service is good as well.

It’s alright… I’m not big on bars at all, but I’ll occasionally go to zone out on some bingo. Even though there’s no indoor smoking, I still have to change clothes when I get home, as they reek of grease that emits from their kitchen(nasty). Filled with local old drunk cougars and dirty old drunk men that act like pigs. Staff is nice and attentive on drinks. Not really my thing, but It is what it is…

The décor was a bit dated for a bar/lounge but the food was good. We went for the happy hour hamburgers and I got a cheeseburger and fries for $ 4.50. It was tasty. There was also a Bingo game the night we went. A great place to meet locals.

For a local bar they have it figured out! Chicken strip basket, cottage fries, and ranch = BEST ever!

i agree with Ben F. before the no smoking ban this place was like a being in an empysema patient’s lung, cloudy, dirty, and hard to breathe… but gosh darn they make a decent burger so it was all worth it. we one $ 100 gamiblin here once!

Vic’s is little more than a decent place to drink most of the time, but on Friday nights they have a karaōke contest, which can be fun with a good group of people. Winning the award is something of a crapshoot, for sure, but if you just want to have fun, Vic’s provides that. As for the drink selection, there isn’t a good beer selection, so I’d just stick to mixed drinks. Finally, the lack of smoking now makes this place bearable(prior to the smoking ban, being in here wasn’t comfortable).
