I can remember this market since I was a kid. In other words, it’s been around for decades. Although ownership has changed over the years, it still maintains all the necessities a local market should carry. It’s located in a small shopping center off Princeton Ave. in the Campus Park area of Moorpark. They have a good selection of beer, alcohol, wine, food and other convenience store items. The staff is friendly and helpful. It’s a great little market in case you live in the area and don’t want to go through the trouble of heading into downtown Moorpark to pick-up a six pack or a single item of food/drink/etc… They also carry a great selection of micro beers in their beer cave. During warmer months, they cook/prepare great bbq. Try their tri tip sandwich, it’ll make you come back for more. Always plenty of parking available. I rated them 4 stars since their a little out of the way(if you don’t live in Campus Park) and some items can tend to be on the pricier side.

We were so lucky we they went under new ownership. This place is so clean and everyone is super friendly. Frank is always a pleasure and my 3 ½ year old daughter loves him. Great prices too

I’ve had some the best beers from this place. They have the best selection of micro brews in town. They are kept nice and cold the towns only beer cave. A great selection of 6 packs and singles as well. Not to mention they also have the cheap stuff at good prices. The beer cave official makes this the best liquor store in town.

A nice local convenience store. Prices like any other one, but they carry some nice liquor and have a very very decent micro beer area in the fridges. The people that work there are very friendly as well.

Located in the Varsity Park Plaza, this is a Grocery, Beer, Wine & Spirits store, that has a small meat market(Carnicería) as well. They have a good selection of beverages, with good prices. They have a walk in beer room and large selection of cold wine. What makes this place a gem, is that on Thursday and Friday afternoon, they have AWESOMEBBQ offered for lunch! Everything from Tri-Tip to ribs. My associate and I decided to try multiple items and ordered the Baby-Back ribs, A beef Short Rib and a Tri-Tip Sandwich. Perfectly cooked, with the right amount of smoke and sauce. They serve the sandwich on garlic bread. The bread itself is killer!(Soft, with a touch of crunch and light garlic flavor). All I can say is that we would go back for sure. They have chili and other items as well. Only downside is that it is only 2 days a week and you can’t order a beer or wine to enjoy with it… but go buy something in the store and take it to go and enjoy it at home!
