MCP Compounding Pharmacy

Amazing Pharmacy, no hassle. I was mentally prepared to do battle running around on my day off. MCP (Jessica) took care of everything she called Walmart and pulled my information for my non-​compound prescription and even called Walmart back to get my discount card. Needless to say I was dumbfounded when it took no time at all to inform me that they will order my brand name medication along with my total cost including insurance
contribution and the best part was when they called that everything is ready for pick up.
MCP also offers to mail compound’s to you home.
No more standing in line for 15 min just to find out they needed to order your medication, don’t get me wrong the Walmart people where very nice but I always had a pessimism attitude when picking up meds.

Never waited more than 5 minutes for a prescription!!! Having to be in and out of the pharmacy often makes it extremely convenient that they’re so fast and SO friendly!

This really is as good as it gets! MCP is definitely a family-​type vibe where you get amazing personal service. Dr. Jessica is not capable of frowning as she has a permanent smile on her face as well as a warm and positive demeanor about her.
What’s even more impressive to me is how my prescriptions are cheaper than the other big-​chain pharmacies. I compared the cost of my prescription with a CVS in my neighborhood and MCP was $ 125 less! I wouldn’t have expected that from a small pharmacy but they work wonders there.
Also, one of my prescriptions was not covered by my insurance and Dr. Jessica was able to contact my insurance and get an approval on it!!! UNHEARD OF!!! Thank you for all of your help and service!

Jessica and the entire team at MCP are extremely helpful, caring and knowledgeable. They go more then the extra mile to answer questions, get prescriptions filled quickly, and know when you need refills, before you even have a chance to call and request. If there is any need for clarification, or issues with insurances or doctors, they resolve and keep you updated on status. I highly recommend this pharmacy.

New transplant from the mid-​west. Needed a new pharmacy (not something you usually think about even.) Found them from some advice.
Place looks new, with modern decoration. The staff, Jessica and Peter, helped me switch all my prescriptions over. They called my doctor’s office, and dealt with the insurance company.
Coming from a very different part of the states to LA, it’s nice having such friendly people to deal with a usually unpleasant place to go.

I recently changed my primary care physician to Dr. Kodama here in Moorpark. I didn’t even realize this place existed! What a find!!!
The people who work here are absolutely amazing, not only are they fast, knowledgeable, and courteous, they take the time to actually talk to you and get to know you.
I will never go to any other pharmacy.
I had asked a couple questions of the pharmacist yesterday about probiotics and the B vitamins and she spent the time to explain what I needed.

MCP sets the standard for what all other pharmacy’s should be held to.
They are the fastest pharmacy I have ever seen. Both in filling and ordering.

They don’t cost a dime more then chain stores.
Best of all, most important of all. Its a small core group of people that are extremely dedicated to helping people. You don’t have a revolving door or pharmacist and techs who have no clue who you are when you go into fill your monthly. At MCP its the same people working there, and they know you, the remember you, When it comes to healthcare, having a person that knows your situation is more important then any price, or any amount of time.
Once you go to MCP you will never go anywhere else. You will see what a pharmacy really should be, it should be this place.

This is a great pharmacy. They can fill prescriptions within minutes of dropping them off. They call you to see if want to refill prescriptions. Can refill prescriptions online. All the staff is very friendly and personable. Can’t recommend them enough.

These guys are great! I drive from the SFV to goto this pharmacy. They are very nice and always can get my meds very fast if not in stock.

My experience at MCP has been amazing! They are unlike any pharmacy I have ever experienced before. I usually go to my local CVS and was completely unaware of the difference between a big chain pharmacy and an independent pharmacy, it is a completely different experience… Dr Jessica has been so helpful in recommending a vitamin and mineral supplementation plan that has made me feel like a new person… She has even helped me find natural ways to not be dependent on prescription medication… No other pharmacist does that!!! This is not just a pharmacy that fills your bottle and sends you on your way, they are there to help you live a better life. They have changed mine forever and I can’t thank Dr Jessica and the entire staff and owners enough. This is truly a special place…

I recently went to the Urgent Care next door to this pharmacy, and when they offered to send the prescriptions over to MCP I was quite surprised.
My insurance company has made a big deal of the fact that we have to use CVS, which is really a living hell. I believe the exception is because this is a compounding pharmacy – but whatever the reason, it is just amazing to be treated so well, have really prompt service, and the staff and pharmacist are genuinely helpful, friendly people. I had my prescription within 10 minutes of leaving Urgent Care.
I wish they were closer than 20 minutes away from me, as it is going to be very hard to put up with CVS in Thousand Oaks after this. Im spoiled!

With a full-​time job and a little one at home, I rarely take the time to write Unilocal reviews, but the service and overall experience at MCP was so phenomenal that I was EXCITED to jump online and do so.
I have never been to a friendlier, more efficient, and FAST pharmacy! I have been so impressed with the prescriptions I’ve had filled there on several different occasions that I am now transferring ALL of my prescriptions to them.
Specifically on my last visit, I observed a pharmacy tech helping an elderly patient at the front counter. They were exchanging pleasantries at first, but it became very clear that this was a repeat customer. .. it made me smile to overhear their sincere conversation as it was evident the tech genuinely cared about her customer. What impressed me MOST of all though is that within 15 seconds of standing in line, the actual pharmacist in charge saw I was waiting and without hesitation hopped to the counter to help ring me up, doing so with a smile and warmth. That NEVER happened at Moorpark’s Target pharmacy where their service usually included being ignored or feeling like I was interrupting a frivolous, gossipy conversation among Target Pharmacy employees.
Just such an overall EXCELLENT experience at MCP. Tryt hem out — you won’t be disappointed. .. I highly recommend MCP!

Wow what a refreshing change of pace. I always complain that I don’t understand why it takes a pharmacy 20 – 45 min to put «the pills from the big jar into the little jar». I stopped in today after my doctor visit and thought well it can’t be any worse than my usual place and at least I don’t have I park again. It took less than 5 min and there was nothing but smiles and it didn’t cost any more than my usual place. You have a loyal follower now!

MCP is the fastest and friendliest pharmacy I’ve ever been to! Dr. Jessica, the pharmacist, is so helpful & knowledgeable about all sides of medicine– whether you are a believer in traditional Western medicine or prefer to take the more natural approach– she’s the one you want to see! Dr. Jessica put me on a vitamin regimen that has changed my life, now I feel wonderful and am confidant that I can always count on her for medical advice. I definitely recommend this pharmacy for anybody in the area looking for something more than your average joe shmo pharmacy on the corner– just stop in to see what she can do for you– you won’t regret it!

Great Pharmacy to work with. Outstanding wait time. Less than 5 mins. Dr Jessica is always helpful and definitely the most knowledgable pharmacist I’ve seen and dealt with. She put me on a new Vitamin regimen and i have never felt better. It’s great to have a personal relationship with my pharmacist. In fact, The whole team is great to work with. Prices are affordable and I highly recommend their services to anyone who wants to support their local independent pharmacy.

This pharmacy gave the best customer service! From the minute I called in my perscription to the time it was delivered to my door. The lady Judy who answered the phone was so helpful and informative. This place truly gave the best customer service. One of the owners even delivered my medicine. I will be referring all my clients to them!
