Subway

Lived in Moorpark for about 16 years, and have been frequenting this location for almost as long. As soon as you walk in, you get the feeling that nobody that works here truly cares about their job. Almost always in the back talking as well. Tall about a lack of atmosphere. Half-​whirring fans, flies buzzing, and zero behind the counter presence highlight the average experience. They lack an emphasis on communicating and embracing the customer; after ordering two sandwiches, one employee managed to say no more than 2 words, between giving us dirty looks.
Take your money over to Jersey Mike’s, you’ll be happy you did.

I’ve only had bad experiences here because of their bad customer service. 2 female employees usually working in the afternoon are very gossipy and eye you and laugh and start gossiping about customers who just left, etc. Very horrible. And the sandwiches suck too, they barely put anything you ask for.

I’ve never had an issue at other Subway sandwich stores, but this one seems to be over-​skimping on the ingredients for their sandwiches for some reason. I asked for a 6 inch tuna sandwich. Pretty basic. Well, the young man behind the counter got out the little scooper (about the size of a melon ball) and didn’t even fill it, then took a knife to skim off the top of what little was even in there. Two little melon ball-​sized tuna scoops that weren’t even the entire amount they’re supposed to give. I asked for pickles – he gave me three tiny pieces. I asked for a little more. Then one quick spray of vinegar. I asked for a little more vinegar and he said they’re not supposed to give more. My sandwich was so tiny. I dont eat a lot but i was left hungry after eating that. I’m not picky. I don’t ask for special accommodations. I know it cost restaurants to give out more than what they are supposed to. I would pay for extra if I was asking for an extra amount. But geez, something is wrong when they skimp to the point where they arent even giving you the minimum. I’m giving a second star for them giving me an extra tiny scoop of tuna without charging… but the manager (?) kept on making me feel guilty that they made that special accommodation and didn’t charge me another 75 cents. I asked why i never had this issue at another store, and she said «Because we are the best. Just kidding.» Wow. Ok. I’ll continue to go to Subway, but not to this store. Which is sad because I like to support local businesses.

Went there for lunch at 2:30 in the afternoon. Place was a mess. No ice in the machine, only sugar and no sweetener, out of most kinds of cheese and filthy floors. The manager and the girl working obviously hate their job. Completely unfriendly. The guy there was doing all the work and was pleasant. He should be manager.

Would be great if they actually stayed open till 9pm. I great that its late and you want to go home but this place closes its doors 10 – 15 min early every night.

Worst Subway ever! The owner or manager are very rude. They’ll put you on hold by setting the phone down on the counter and will make sandwiches and take orders while you sit there. Sandwiches are rarely made as ordered. Go across town for Subway.

Love this Subway! Always freash and customer service is top Notch! Love that I can walk from my house to have a healthy meal anytime! Thanks for the great service.

Poor Attitude from employees. Only gave me 2 if those triangle slices of cheese on my footling sandwich :/​Was also out of spinach.

My daughter asked to substitute a salad for soup since it was a warm day and the staff said «sure». When we got to the cashier/​manager she said «no way» and was very rude about it They gave me a sandwich on jalapeño cheese bread when I ordered Italian herb bread We will DEFINITELY NOT be going back to this Subway!!!

Good place for lunch! just remember the high school is across the street! love the smell of bread as you walk up to Subway. The service here is fast! I go for the club sandwich with fresh avocado. So good I want one right now! Between the two subways in town this is my favorite and closest to home!
