Z-Ultimate Self Defense Studios – Moorpark

Thank you Eric & Lucian for helping to make my son’s 12^th birthday a memorable one for him and his friends. The boys had a blast and learned some awesome self defense skills. You both were very pleasant and managed to keep all 14 boys entertained & learning the entire time:)

My daughter has been a student pretty much since they are open and, even though it’s pricey, she loves the dojo and so do I. We checked out other dojos and this was by far the best. The Senseis are great with the kids.

I am writing this from two perspectives. First as the mother of a student, my 4 year old son and second as a student of the dojo. As a mother of a student, I am so thrilled to see my son’s development thus far. His balance, motor-​skills, attention span, listening abilities have all improved in the few short months he has attended classes. Not only is he sharpening these practical life skills but he also has a lot of fun attending classes, exercising and seeing the friends he has made at the dojo.
As a student myself, I am honored to be a part of this dojo. I was somewhat reluctant and a bit intimidated when I first signed up, having not exercised regularly in a long time (had a newborn baby at home) I felt I was too out of shape to «start» anything. I was also concerned about the time away from home, with two small children and working full time, I felt my calendar was brimming already. Regardless of my concerns, I pressed on with my lessons. I now feel stronger, more motivated and the discipline this has brought to my life is the balance I needed. It would be easy for me to make excuses and quit but I would miss learning the martial arts and self defense techniques, the workouts and all the great people that make up our dojo.
I attribute all the improvements my son and I have earned to the highly skilled teaching methods of Sensei Eric and Sensei Lucian. My son and I will continue to learn, develop and tackle our short-​term and long-​term goals, both in and out of the dojo, with a fighting spirit. I highly recommend Z-​Ultimate Moorpark to anyone looking for and wanting more.

My nine year old son started attending Z-​Ultimate about a 2 months ago and he loves it! Mr. Eric and Mr Lucian are super fun with the kids and they always change things up so the kids don’t get bored. They also discipline and teache the kids respect to the highest level. Mr. Eric teaches the kids to see martial arts as not just a physical activity but a way of life and to respect all of their elders and apply the things they do in every day life like home, school, at the dojo and everywhere else. I recommend Z-​Ultimate 100%. We looked at many other places and none are as good as Z-​Ultimate. Also, no other place offers a private lesson once a week! My son loves to have his private lesson because it really helps him understand and grow in his technique and skills! This place is amazing everyone looking to learn martial arts should definitely come here :)

Love the NEW dojo in Moorpark. Sensei Lucian and Master Perlman are two of the best, if not the best, instructors Z-​Ultimate has to offer. As an adult, I love Z-​Ultimate for the conditioning and self defense training, as well as the socialization I get from going to class. Great people, great organization. I would highly recommend at least giving them a try. If you change your mind, they’re super flexible and customer service oriented. You won’t have any problems here.

I am so impressed with Z-​Ultimate Moorpark! My son has been going there for a little over a month. He has so much confidence now and I have noticed such a difference in the way he acts and carries himself. As an added bonus he has a huge smile on his face after every lesson. Sensei Eric and Sensei Lucian are fantastic!
