Very good food and beautiful view. They have an upper and lower outdoor deck for dining or snacking. Also a large interior area and stocked bar. Thought that this was just pizza but they have great pasta, salads and healthy choices along with artisan pizza. I would give this a 5 star for the exception that you have to order at the main station and then the food will be brought to you. They should have waiters. This is a 4.5 star place. Would come here again.

Grab a beer and pizza and sit out on the second floor deck to enjoy the view of the Tetons. You won’ t disappointed.

We recently had dinner at Dornan’s after a long float trip on the Snake River. It was exactly what we wanted: a no frills spot with excellent food, cold beer, fair prices, and unbeatable views of the Grand Teton Cathedral Group. My wife and I split a generously portioned greek salad and a 12-inch Mount Owen pizza(sun dried pesto, mozzarella, asiago, feta and gouda); both were very good and hit the spot. For folks looking to get a good bite to eat away from the busy and sometimes pricey restaurant scene in Jackson, Dornan’s is a great option.

So if you enjoy pizza(Can’t speak for the pasta as neither me or my fellow diner ordered it), you’re probably good. If you enjoy any semblance of customer service or any other food, good luck. My father and I walked in and had to ask around where we should sit or how we order. We eventually discovered you order yourself and tell them where you sit. We ordered the nachos as an appetizer and one of the specialty pizzas(I think it was called thors but I don’t recall for sure) and told them we were sitting upstairs. We were given a number placard and went upstairs to enjoy our drinks. It took 20 minutes for us to even have any service presence, where they gave us both our nachos and pizza. Sometimes I overlook getting my appetizer at the same time as my entre but my nachos were cold as a brick, with congealed, rather than melted cheese. Obvious as day they had been sitting in the window for 10+ minutes because how long does it take to slap meat and cheese onto a handful of chips? Ate practically all of our pizza, which as I mentioned, was great if not overpriced(Welcome to this part of Wyoming) but what I expect when I pay high amounts for food at restaurants ISANELEMENTOFSERVICE. Good luck finding that at Dornans. What if I wanted another drink? Get it yourself. What if I wanted a box? Got it myself. What if I wanted to voice a complaint about my nachos being ice cold? Would have had to do it myself but I just decided, not worth the fight for a restaurant that doesn’t seem to even want to fight at all for that element. As a longtime service worker, I find it incredibly depressing that a customer-focused business operates like this, when I’m usually more apt to forgive and forget. The fact that I’m giving this two stars is SOLELY because of the pizza and anything else would deserve 0 stars if possible. BTW, I’ve NEVER posted on Unilocal and I usually laugh at many of the negative posts because they seem so petty but good lord, I couldn’t contain myself after this experience. By far, the bottom of the totem pole when it comes to customer service. Enjoy if you must!

In the off season options are always limited and everything suffers. Not the case here. Options are limited but what there is is excellent. Over two nights we sampled pasta and pizza and were satisfied with both. Prices are reasonable and service is friendly. The view is to die for

One star for the view and one star for edible food. The lady that took my order did not confirm with me what I wanted and gave us a mini pizza instead of the 12 inch. Pizza was nothing special and thick. The chicken veggie rice soup had fake tofu chicken pieces inside and tasted horrible. It had about 2 pieces of carrots and lots of over cooked pasta rice. Did not finish that. Also, there is no pasta on the menu. View is excellent though– but if you want good food, I would drive down to Jackson. This is not worth it.

We have visited here multiple times always for the pizza. They are good about customizing the toppings even though their pizzas Are rather cookie-cutter. The biggest draw out of this place is the incredible view of the Tetons and the rustic little shopping center area. The customer service, however, is terrible. We ordered to go and they don’t like orders ahead, then when we got there and decided to eat they were not happy about us sitting to eat our food at the restaurant we had ordered it from!

We showed up at our cabin this afternoon and discovered this entire restaurant had shut down at 3pm for an $ 85/person wine dinner event. Very disappointed as we were counting on eating here tonight before settling in with our baby at the cabin. It looks nice — great views, etc. Maybe next time…

Large restaurant where you sit down with a menu, then order at the counter. This would be a good place to take kids since they have a fairly large kid-friendly menu. I had lasagna, it was ok, definately reheated – scolding hot on outside, cold on the inside. My husband had buffalo Bolognese, he thought it was just ok, said it was watery rather than creamy. The atmosphere was very laid back and casual. I would go back due to the conscience and location of being right off the mountain. The food is merely average. Nice employees.

Great place to eat pizza and look at the Teton Mountains. Pizza was wonderful. Eat outside for the views but bring a light jacket if might be cool. Good choice.

Exceptional view of the Teton’s from their roof deck. Food was good but not great and the portions were on the small side. Solid place to grab a drink and take in the view however.

I’m pretty sure this is the only restaurant in the area(although Unilocal showed 2 other locations, but also called Dornan’s), so it’s a pleasant surprise that the food is good too. I had the Thor’s Peak pizza, which was pretty satisfying. Maybe a little inflated since most of my other meals for the week consisted primarily of sandwiches and poptarts, but hey, you’re out in the mountains, you don’t get to be super picky. There’s a great view of the mountain range if you dine outside, and there’s WiFi! A solid restaurant for those of you like me that didn’t bring fancy clothes for a fancy restaurant in the park.

Yummy pizza with a great view of the Grand Tetons. We came here as a party of 6 and were immediately greeted. They told us we could move the tables and chairs to accomodate our party, which they helped us with. The place is self serve, so water is at the bar, food is ordered at the cashier next to the kitchen along with non-alcoholic drinks. Our pizzas came out quickly and were tasty! Abd man, oh man, you cannot beat the view!

The pizza was thick doughy with little sauce and no flavor. Only ate two slices of the 12″ pizza pie. Looked around the restaurant and the pasta didn’t look good either. Host gave us menus and asked us to seat ourselves then get up to place out pizza order in the back of the restaurant. The view was fantastic though.

I would come here again and again and again… I ate here just a few days ago and ordered the pineapple, Canadian bacon, and toasted almond pizza. I’m a small gal, and boy I woofed down 5 pieces of that pizza. Beautiful view of the Tetons while dining, most of the staff is nice. Tourist busses do drop in, so get there early unless you want to wait a long time.

I stopped by here for lunch last week with my fiancé and her parents after a 10 mile float trip down the Snake River. We were comparing all of the Dornan’s places to eat whenever this place and its upstairs patio stood out to us. So we walked in to the restaurant and stood around for about a minute just inside the door before a server came over to us, handed us menus and explained that you ordered near the back of the room. The main dining room of this establishment was dominated by a huge L shaped bar but it also had a decent number of tables around. They also had carafes of water and cups on the bar which allow you to serve yourself which I enjoyed. The real reason that we came here though was to sit upstairs and so we headed up to the 21+ area to sit on the patio. The patio itself was pretty standard but the views you get of the Tetons while eating were quite nice. For my lunch entrée I decided to go with the Carbonara Fettuccine. It was a decent dish that had a good amount of food on the plate and was topped with a bread stick that looked like a piece of white pizza. The carbonara was decent although I thought that the ham in it made it a bit too salty for my tastes. Everyone else at the table ended up ordering the caprese paninis and seemed to really enjoy them, so maybe I just picked poorly. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. While my meal was just ok, the views of the Tetons were amazing and the view helped to make lunch even more pleasurable than it already was.

We ate here based on a recommendation from a friend and I’m so glad we did. We stopped for lunch on a Sunday so they were quite crowded. We opted to eat upstairs on the deck. The views were spectacular. You have to place and pay for your order downstairs. When it’s ready they bring it up to you. We ordered two large pizzas so we would have some to take home. We got the Mount Wister and Thor Peak. They were both delicious and satisfying and more than enough to take home. We each only ate half as they are huge. The weather was ideal and we had a very delightful time. If your near don’t miss a chance to eat here.

This place is a semi-hidden gem. Best place to enjoy a meal and take in the grand view of the Teton Mountains. And not only was the very spectacular but the food was too! I ordered a Pizza that I cannot recall it’s babe but it had BBQ sauce, chicken, onions, and smokedGouda! It was phenomenal! We also ordered their seafood pasta which was heavenly. We loved everything about here. We even got to see a moose roaming around while we ate! Tip: When visiting Wyoming you will have to change your expectations in regards to service. Everyone lives on Wyoming time which is slow paced. Be prepared for things to take longer whether out to eat or checking out at the grocery store.
