I’m very disappointed in our choice for pizza tonight. The crust was like plain white bread, and our garlic cheese sticks were a poor excuse for cheese or garlic. I used to love mountain mikes, but we ordered tonight after not having it for over a year, and I know now that I won’t be going back. There’s a local pizza place nearby that is much tastier, even if it’s a couple dollars more, the quality is much better.

Wow! I can’t believe this Mountain Mike’s has such a low rating. There’s NOWAY this is a 2 star location. It’s unfortunate how many customers give a 1 or 2 star rating based solely on one visit and solely based on employees performance. That’s absurd! I see this all the time on Unilocal. All restaurants, pizza places, massage, etc. deserve at least two, if not more visits before writing a review. Folk’s EXPECTATIONS are just too high when they first visit an establishment. That is, unless you are visiting a super expensive 5 star establishment that cater’s to the wealthy. Yes, then there’s a big expectation that SERVICEWILLBEIMPECCABLE. Yea, the place is older and run down. Yea, employee performance could be better(let’s face it though — all these establishments hire young, inexperienced people who get minimum wage). We get the gluten-free McKinley pizza and it’s awesome. And I mean AWESOME! A nice balance of of ingredients to it. I would probably give this business a 3 star rating if I’m basing my OPINION solely on looks, service and food. But I’m only interested in rating the food and balancing out the other inappropriate reviews. So I give it 5 stars Cheers and Happy Trails!

I am a Saint Mary’s student and they deliver to SMC and know the building which is very convenient for me. They are more affordable and I personably think they are much better than round table.

So let’s see… the pizza wasn’t bad, the wings were OK, I like the fact that they weren’t breaded. The one star comes from the employee we bumped into the bathroom(young asian lady), to which after taking a giant dump and stinking up the place… –okay, nature calls, it happens-… flushed, and walked out of the bathroom and straight to the front counter to pack some pizzas, NOWASHINGHANDSREQUIRED??? We had a box with our left overs to go, needless to say, we left it behind. My daughter and I felt so nauseous leaving the place, WEARENEVERCOMINGBACK!

This place definitely deserves its 2 stars. Pizza, wings and mozzarella sticks took almost an hour and a half. Everything was like warm. The wings were disgustingly soggy and flabby. The mozzarella sticks were also Luke warm and the cheese wasn’t melted at all. Regret not ordering from Lamorinda Pizza. Or anywhere else but here. Would give one star… But I felt sorry for the delivery guy

Worst Customer Service EVER! The manager was a complete jerk to a customer, seriously was uncomfortable how he was speaking to her. Pizza is ok but will NEVER go back. Very upsetting.

tasteless pizza, dough is chewy, the sauce from a can and cheese low quality. frozen pizza from the supermarket can only taste better. not one clean table available, they were all littered with dirty dishes. no pizza left at the buffet. only one guy working the front too busy taking phone orders to handle customers and one sole cook in the kitchen. the place is a mess.

This place has good pizza, but our last experience was horrible. Go to Round Table Pizza or Pennini’s. We ordered pizza over the phone with our BOGO Campo card. We asked the cashier how it worked and ordered what she said. We get there only to hear the owner chew her out in front of us telling us she was wrong and we owed for both pizzas. We should have just walked out but we didn’t want the helpful cashier get in more trouble. Definitely not customer service oriented. We will not be returning, not so much about having to pay for both pizzas, but more about an owner who treated his employee extremely bad in front of us. See ya Mountain Mike’s!

Horrible customer service. They have delivered to my area of Lafayette since the Lafayette store closed. Now they won’t deliver any more. Their limit is apparently reduced to 3.5 miles now and not the 4 to our neighborhood.

Great pizza, great options and really decent sides. As far as pizza goes it’s perfect and the delivery staff is friendly. Hard to beat. Not comparable to Papa Johns which I don’t care for. Better than Round Table especially for the price.

When I’m at work I usually order from Mountain Mikes in Moraga. The last time they forgot the ranch I specifically told them NOT to forget. I just ordered a pizza today. Cost me $ 25.00 bucks. On the phone I specifically told the guy that they forgot the ranch last time and NOT to forget it this time & to add LOTS of peppers. The delivery guy gets here and once again, they didn’t add in the ranch & only put in 3 small pepper packs for a large combo. I asked the delivery guy where the ranch was. He just said, «I don’t know, I’m just the delivery guy.» So I called them up and let them know that this is the second time they didn’t fill the order right. The guy on the phone was like, «Oh I’m sorry.» He didn’t offer to bring some or anything.” Then I open up the box and under the pizza was a grease pit. It was so greasy it was starting to leak through the bottom of the box. I took pictures of it. The crust was spongy from all the grease. I choked down a couple pieces but it was so bad I couldn’t eat it. I called again to let them know that it was inedible. The same guy on the phone just said he’d tell the cook and the manager. I highly doubt that. They offered NOTHING to make it right. They didn’t offer to replace it or anything. So, I’m going to personally go in there later & bring the grease pit pizza back to try and get a refund. Seriously disappointed in such bad customer service. If it weren’t $ 25 bucks I’d just forget it & throw the pizza in the garbage, but in this economy to treat yourself once in a while is a big deal to many people. Either offer good customer service & a good product or close up shop. Crappy customer service, crappy delivery, crappy food. I’ll never order a delivery from them again. Two thumbs down all the way around.

Great pizza! and Shocktop on tap! What more do you need? We usually have pizza here and then head over to the movies right around the corner.

I’ve been here several times for pizza and their all-you-can-eat buffet and it was just average. I think they have new management because their customer service has completely gone downhill. It’s starts at the top. They usually to have a lot of great deals but I guess times might be hard. I use the 1 topping pizza for 13.99 coupon but you have to constantly remind them you are using it. Several times I tell them I have a coupon, then when I’m there they try and charge me regular price. I guess like I read in previous reviews they end up getting orders mistaken over the phone. They haven’t messed up my actual order like the toppings, but the price has been skewed several times. The all you can eat is the best deal they have. I haven’t been for a while since the«new» management but I’ve witnessed several unhappy customers. One instance the locals ugh school football team came in and ate all the pizza so there were none for other customers. The other patrons were rightfully upset but the management still didn’t give a refund. They asked for their money back or for them to make pizza and the older lady just stared blankly with a grin not knowing what to do. I’m glad I got my large pepperoni pizza to go for $ 15.32 lol.

They have idiots working there. They are rude. Don’t ever place an order over the phone because they will get it wrong. Go to a different pizza place.

This place absolutely does not give a s*#t and it shows. Soooo disappointing because the Mountain Mike’s less than 10 miles away in Walnut Creek is delicious. When the closest Mountain Mike’s used to be in Walnut Creek, this used to be my favorite pizza place. Thus, when I found out there was going to be a Mountain Mike’s even closer to my home town, I’m was pretty excited. That excitement was soon transformed into oh so bitter disappointment as I took my first bite of this piece of crap pizza. I wondered to myself, «how could such good pizza go so wrong?» Well, upon investigating further and going down to the pizza shop, it became pretty apparent. The staff down there doesn’t care at all. When I walked in the door, they were all hanging out in the kitchen having a good old time, ignoring all the customers in the restaurant. For those of you who might think this was a fluke, I’ve had the unfortunate experience of picking pizza up here for other members of my family who, out of desperation more than anything, have continued to order from here. Though I continue to refuse to eat here, I’ve done my family duty and picked pizza up here on numerous occasions and the staff is almost always nowhere to be found. If their pizza was decent, I wouldn’t care what their staff was doing, but the lack of effort shows. EVERY single time my family orders from here, there is almost no cheese and the toppings appear to have been thrown on the pizza from a great distance. This Mountain Mike’s is a total disappointment.

Usually this specific Mountain Mikes is on the adequate side, decent food at average prices, but now I think twice about going here. On my last visit I ordered ahead of time, online at 6:00pm, with the intention of picking the pizza up around 6:20 as the website states there is a 15 – 20 minute wait time. When I got to the Moraga Mountain Mikes at 6:20 I was asked to sign the receipt, something I thought was reasonable considering I ordered online with a credit card. What is unreasonable is that after signing the receipt I was told my pizza would be ready in 15 minutes and here’s the zinger. I didn’t get the pizza in the next 15 minutes, instead getting it at 7:01, a full hour after ordering. No apology, no acknowledgement that they had made a mistake, nothing. Here’s a quick list why I won’t be returning and why I advise you not to visit either; 1. Customer service: Don’t expect any. 2. Wait time: Be prepared to spend your time, valuable or not, waiting. 3. Good pizza can be found elsewhere: Perhaps Patxi’s Pizza would appreciate my time and patronage more.

I am a pizza person and my husband just hates it. He just does not like the idea of gulping something down his throat that is loaded with so much cheese and calories. But whatever he might say to take me off my craving for this food its difficult. I have eaten at almost all pizza places in Moraga and this one too is my favorite. I had read a few reviews praising their Buffalo wings so I did want to try them. They were really good made me feel happy that I had done a good homework. Then I ordered the Chicken club which has a creamy garlic sauce with mozzarella cheese. I ordered this as I wanted to try the garlic sauce flavor on pizza. Tell you I could nt have been more happier and satisfied as I took a bite of this hot, melting and intense garlic flavored pizza. They are slightly expensive but if you look out for their offers they often have buy one get one free or discount coupons that you can avail. Then it definitely does not pinch you to grab a bite of your favorite food every other week.

I came here a few time after school. The prices are ok, but the workers aren’t very efficient in the way they make the pizza. I asked them for, «A little extra bit of Sauce». They put so much sauce on the pizza, that if I lightly touched the sauce with a fork, it would spill! Overall, when you’re hungry, you’ll think this place is ok. I’ll admit, when the pizza is fresh out of the oven and hot, it’ll be decent.

Love their deliveries! I’ve had deliveries from both their Moraga and Lafayette locations for kids bday parties and husband’s poker nights. They have fresh toppings and deliver on time as promised. They have great coupon offerings on their website for online orders. My favorite is their Everest with pepperoni, sausage, linguicia, beef, bell peppers, onions, olives and mushrooms. I usually order it without the beef or sub it out for garlic. Kids like the Hawaiian and pepperoni. It’s a nice alternative to Round Table Pizza. We like to alternate between the 2 pizza franchises.

This is the first mountain Mike’s pizza I’ve visited. I glanced at their buffet section; most of the items were empty. So, I decided to order from the menu. It was actually pretty good.
